A must visit - vegan friendly delicious food - Edit
There are many vegan options all clearly marked on the menu here including falafel mezze bowl, humus, pitta, muhammara, and more.
Read moreOutdoor seating has umbrellas and heaters but we were there on a warm August night and sitting outside people watching was great fun.
Also this place was buzzing on a sunny Friday night but we were seated in around 10 minutes. The staff here were fantastic.
One thing to note - it’s right next door to “War Pigs”, a brewery that sells BBQ meats. If you’re super sensitive to the smell you may not want to sit outside here.
Pros: Delicious vegan options , Great staff, Clearly marked vegan menu
Cons: Proximity to War Pigs brewery

Tasty Palestinian restaurant with plenty of vegan options 🇵🇸 - Edit
I ordered the falafel bowl which came with hummus, baba ganoush, muhammara and pomegranate dressing. I went for bulgar but you could have chosen french fries with za’atar. It was absolutely delicious! I also got a sparkling elderflower water and we shared a pot of Arabic mint tea to finish it off! Lovely restaurant would definitely recommend

Tasty vegan food - Edit
The music can be a bit too loud inside. Apart from that, the food is very good and there are many vegan options. Outdoor seating is also available.

Sehr authentisch arabisch! Dazu preislich völlig im Rahmen, perfekt.

Delicious - Edit
Excellent vegan selection of food with a good array of drinks too. Loved the atmosphere, the music and the decor. Only issue was waiting 20 mins to tell someone we wanted to pay our bill, in the end we went up to the till - not sure if you're meant to do that or not - instructions unclear.

Vegan-friendly mezze - Edit
Gaza Grill is a medium-sized, somewhat upscale Middle Eastern organic eatery with a focus on vegetarian and vegan dishes.
Read moreThis is their second location and it's located in the historical former slaughter and meat-processing area, Kødbyn. Since the early 2000s the area has been changing into a new creative cluster with galleries, restaurants, nightlife and small creative businesses such as studios and architecture firms, and Gaza grill is a part of this change. I really like the vibe of modern businesses in old brick buildings.
I really like Middle Eastern mezze restaurants and have been to a few - the best one being HUmmUS in den Haag - so I was excited to try this one. My friends and I ordered all eight vegan mezze dishes and I got to try them all. Everything tasted great. My highlights were the falafel, hummus and muhammara mezze. I liked the Middle Easter decorations that were everywhere. One thing to be aware of - and a slightly negative point for me - is that they don't serve alcohol. Another thing to be aware of is that the prices are quite high.
All-in-all Gaza Grill is a nice organic Middle Eastern restaurant offering great - albeit kind of expensive - vegan mezze and although it, in my opinion, doesn't quite reach HUmmUS' level, I'd be happy to go back here again.
Pros: Lots of vegan meeze, Organic
Cons: No alcohol served
