Good food - Edit
Many vegan items, clearly marked on the menu. Our group tried many of the vegan dishes and deemed them very good. I enjoyed my roti and dal. Warm plates provided. This time, the meal took a long time to arrive, though on a previous visit with fewer people, it had come quickly.

Okay - Edit
Food was decent. I had the mushroom and pea curry and it was very oily. Plain nan lived up to its name. I found the food a bit too spicy. Staff were very nice.

Great Soul food - Edit
Aside from a slightly quiche design, the vegan options are full of flavor and super filling that even a non vegan would love it. Their Nan is my favourite. Just beautiful food overall...

Marked vegan items - Edit
Big plus for having vegan dishes mentioned separately on the menu. The food was delicious and the staff friendly.

best indian food in namibia - Edit
Garnish is the best Indian food that I have found in Namibia, it is also the only Indian food I have found in Namibia! But in reality, it is pretty good. Plenty of vegetarian options including paneer. Vegan options are a little harder to find. Menu says if there is cream or butter, but it is best to ask anyway because I believe the dum aloo has yogurt which is not identified on the menu. Plain naan is vegan, veg samosas are vegan, and several curries are vegan. There are also rice options and multiple dal dishes. Ordering is a bit strange. Everything is ordered separately. So if you want rice, order rice, because it does not come with the entrees. There are 2 garnish locations in Windhoek and 1 in Swakopmund. Each restaurant has the same menu.

Cons: vegan options not clearly identified
