Yummy good for toad trips - Edit
I loved the food. One note the smoothies are made out of juice not frozen fruit so they are not filling. The crepes are life changing

Happy hippie place! - Edit
The food is healthy and a little hippie, but that’s a good thing. Everything is excellent but especially the BBQ jackfruit. Definitely get a coffee, too. Staff is wonderful and friendly. A local gem!

Vegan best option in Roanoke no doubt!! - Edit
We just discovered the place and have been enchanted by the lunch here. The hosts were friendly and kind and we just felt like home. One of them at least is vegan and accommodated us perfectly. We tried several Crêpes and they were to die for. Quality is fresh, minute maid and you can see and taste that they don't use fat gmo products. Everything is prepared in the house, pesto, batter for the crêpes etc or by locals. An oasis of deliciousness in a desert of vegan options. Lol

Expensive, food was not good - Edit
Sadly we did not have a good experience at this restaurant. It was very cute and the service was fast. The food was overpriced and not very good. The menu is very limited and not well marked for vegan items. I imagine it might be good for the area as there is only one other vegan option (Zeezees which is amazing) but they were closed.
Read moreWhen we arrived no one else was there. We had ordered two paninis on gluten free bread. However, belatedly, the owner advised the gluten free bread contains egg (not marked anywhere on the menu). Not sure why as we've successfully made vegan gluten free bread and this was supposedly made local.
The owner also quoted us about $4 higher for a panini than what was listed on her menu. She was also visibly upset when we inquired about the price discrepancy.
The only other option available for dinner is a crepe. Sadly we do not like crepes in general and this experience did not change our minds. Furthermore the owner seemed to have lied in order to get rid of us. When I asked if the mushroom cream could be made vegan she said yes. The French Crepe comes with mushroom cream, rather my crepe only had mushrooms. Other photos on happy cow clearly depict mushroom cream. The vegan cheese was not melted and was supposed to be garlic and herb while it tasted like mossarella.
The other meal we ordered was the BBQ. It was similarly bad. Both meals had a weird sweet flavor to them that was really gross.
Several items also have honey in them and the owner clearly thinks honey is vegan. We encounter this a lot and it is super frustrating. Exploiting bees is not vegan. Raping the queen bee so that you can make a profit is not vegan. Paying someone to do this for you because you like the taste is not vegan. Use maple syrup or coconut nectar or one of the several vegan sugar options. And absolutely do not pretend honey is vegan!
In sum we were very disappointed with our experience. The food was bad, overpriced, the owner was rude and condescending. We paid $27 for two sub par meals.
Cons: Expensive , Owner states honey is vegan, Poor service

Awesome Crepes - Edit
Ate here three time during our visit to the Roanoke area.
Read moreLOVE that the crepes are all gluten free and can be made vegan. It is a fully vegetarian restaurant and does carry free range eggs and dairy.
The crepes are light but filling and you can choose between sweet or savory, to suit your palate!
The coffee is organic, fair trade, shade grown and carbon free, and is smooth as silk!!
Will definitely visit again when we are in the area!!
Pros: Vegan/gluten free options , Delicious sustainable organic coffee , Pure ingredients
Cons: Expensive but worth it, Not open early (for breakfast)

Best Crepes in Roanoke - Edit
Cute place. Indoor/outdoor seating options, super friendly staff, fast service for a small staff. Not much is vegan as is but they know what vegan is and can make almost anything you want vegan. My friends and family all had crepes and they were great. If you are tired of Zeezee's (is that possible?) or just want breakfast food then head over to Garden Song.

Food was good... - Edit
The food was pretty great and the atmosphere was nice but my sister and I got pressured into spending almost forty dollars on two crepes (we only wanted one) and a mediocre smoothie. The crepes were great, especially for being vegan. Servers were very accommodating. The size of the smoothie was tiny for the price. Kind of a hike from Blacksburg.

Great fresh food - Edit
I’m new to the area and had an impromptu work lunch here on a gorgeous Friday.
Read moreI got the basic quinoa bowl with black beans, roasted sweet potatoes, and I subbed broccoli for the sauerkraut. It comes with a tahini dressing. The flavors were really good and everything went well together. Most of the ingredients are organic.
There was a vegan dessert and some kale chips and seed crackers that were individually packaged.
I thought it was a little overpriced but I think the premium is because of the organic ingredients. I’d go back though.
Pros: Quality ingredients , Whole foods, Decent vegan options
Cons: Small menu, Slightly overpriced
