For a place called Garbanzo, you should actually make the falafels on your menu - Edit
After standing in line for over 20 min, I ordered a falafel bowl and was told all the falafels were frozen so there weren't any available. It was 230 pm. Still lunch time. And no alternative vegetarian proteins were offered. Really disappointing as there are few vegan or vegetarian opinions at ATL and I wasted all my layover time in line. I've been to this restaurant before and they make a decent fresh vegan and gluten-free falafel rice bowl, so I was hoping this could be my go-to option, but it's not as reliable as it should be.

Good vegan option at the airport! - Edit
During my long layover for my connecting flight, I googled what the vegan food options were at the airport and which concourse had the best option. I love Middle Eastern food and decided to check out Garbanzo Mediterranean . I selected a falafel pita with hummus, veggies and rice. It was quite filling and tasty. Though expensive at $12, but happy to have found something delicious and satisfying. Located at Concourse C.

It’s something - Edit
I’m sure it was my specific luck, but others have also noted this place being out of ingredients. Same here.
Read moreI can say that the falafel, hummus and rice were good, but they had no tahini sauce, so everything else was rather dry.
They were also extremely slow with service. They were dropping falafel as people ordered it, so it took me about 20 minutes before I got my food.

Good vegan options. But make sure you check the ingredients yourself. There are labels on what’s vegan 🌱

Food passable, service and sanitary standards underwhelming - Edit
Not only was the lady serving doing several unsanitary things (example: wore gloves but her nails had poked holes through them and were filthy) but the worst was that she was also really rude and outright aggressive. To be fair: This was ~6 months ago and she might not be there anymore. But this experience really made me not try this place again.

A tasty delight in ATL - Edit
After a my flight was delayed several times it was time to explore dinner options. I found this restaurant and was beyond amazed by the enriching taste that left me truly satisfied. The Pitta’s unfortunately are vegetarian, but the flour tortilla wraps could score you a win you you chose.
Read moreI went with a build your own plate, which included a salad, squash, fresh falafel, mushrooms (for extra protein) yellow rice with a side of hummus all vegan approved. I topped the entire plate off with the vegan vinaigrette dressing.
The dish let’s just say left me truly excited and very satisfied with my choice of restaurant and dish.
The hospitality was a 10 the gentleman working the counter checked all of the ingredients that I questioned to ensure it was vegan friendly without any hesitation.
I gave the restaurant a high rating (5-stars, but the app limited me to only 4 due to it not being a completely vegan only restaurant) as the taste was not dry, but very flavorful down to the last bite.
I tried a sample of the fries and were impressed, but chose not to order as my portion was just what I needed. I hope your experience is 10x’s as better than mine. I approve this message as I was truly satisfied with the service, taste and location accessibility too.
Pros: falafel, Mushrooms, Salad w/ vinaigrette dressing

Decent - Edit
I gave it three stars because it's fast food and not a vegan restaurant. It's a really good option and I suggest that you try this place out. I ordered the stuffed pita with felafel with hummus, cucumber, tomatoes, and lettuce.

Love me some Garbanzo - Edit
They’re almost always out of something (it’s the busiest airport in the world, so I understand), but Garbanzo never disappoints. It’s a vegan’s Mediterranean dream in a sea of airport burger and pasta joints that are far from vegan-friendly

It exists... - Edit
Nothing much to add that at least it exists and you can have a salad with falafel. Nothing gourmet, it’s airport fast food after all but at least I was able to eat something before my flight.

Edible but not enjoyable - Edit
The staff were more concern with there conversation than they were with helping me. I order the Falafel Pita. The food was overpriced and the falafel was overcooked. The pita as edible.

Good enough for airport food - Edit
The baba ganoush and humus were basic. The lettuce was fresh and crisp. They have decent kalamata olives. The falafel were disappointing, as they were overly fried and too small. Some servers were very efficient, others not so much,

4 stars for food. 2 for staff. - Edit
Nice to have options of falafel or mushrooms and the flavors of the hummus and baba ghanoush were good. Hey broerunately, Staff is either lacking training in efficiency and courtesy or just don’t care.
Read moreThe whole point of an assembly line is efficiency, so for the love of Pete, don’t make 6 people wait for the next 10 to have their players half assembled before finishing theirs. It just backs us up in line and makes no sense. Also, keep track of your offerings and keep them stocked. Was Out of mushrooms, told they would be 5-10 minute wait so I got falafels which I didn’t want. 90 seconds later another staff member brings out mushrooms. I asked the one woman wearing a smile if she would switch it and she politely did. Overall a sorry display of ineptitude, but ultimately thankful the food options were there. I would eat here again, but know to keep expectations for service low.

Best of the Worst - Edit
This place sucks. Ordered a Laffa Falafel, got no falafel. Non-vegan trays slopped over into the vegan trays. The only positive is the options are marked. Other than that, this is just crap for falafel.

Good option at ATL - Edit
There are not many obvious vegan options at the airport. This spot in the D concourse was a bright spot. It's a casual fast food place that has many vegan items clearly marked. Falafel, taboulé, baba ganoush, hummus, veggies, portabellas. And you can have them as a plate, salad, pita or wrap. Not fine dining, but tasty and filling.

Yummy Falafel! Updated: not so good the second time - Edit
This was way beyond my expectation for a food court falafel. It had some nice spice to it, especially when accompanied with the salsa. My mouth was pleasantly cooled by the cucumber salad. First time I'm happy to have a layover in ATL. ❤️ UPDATE: second time I came back through (3 days later), the staff seemed put-off that I disrupted their lively conversation. They didn't have the couscous and the falafel was so dry, it was tough to choke down (it might have been recooked because it seemed stale and super dark). Still (unfortunately) one of the best fast food options in ATL, but I wish it could have been like the first visit. 😢

Clearly marked - Edit
I was here for a layover and pulled up Happy Cow to see what options I had for lunch. I ordered a falafel bowl and everything was clearly labeled as vegan and vegetarian. Falafel has good texture, baba ganoosh is smoky, hummus is smooth. Great option and easy to get to from other terminals.
