Indian food is probably my favorite cuisine, and I've had a lot of VERY good Indian food in big cities, as well as being pretty decent at home-cooking it myself....let's just say I was not expecting a restaurant in Landsberg, Germany of all places to be in the top 10% of my tastiest Indian-food experiences! I got the vegetable jalfrezi and the tinda masala and I suggest you do yourself a favor and get it too. (Or anything, really, if these dishes are a representative sample.) I am pretty sure they are both vegan—from carefully reading the comprehensive allergen list—although I ordered it delivery so you may want to verbally confirm this if you get a chance.
Read moreUPDATE: I came here for lunch the next day before leaving town (I know, obsessed) and can verify that their dining in experience is very pleasant. They have outdoor seating on the platz, which would be nice if it weren't so hot this time of year, and also a cute indoor space upstairs.

Ich habe in noch keinem Restaurant sowas erlebt.
Wir wurden sogar mit Absicht ignoriert, man hat nicht mit uns gesprochen und da der Kellner, der uns zugeteilt war, nach 30 Minuten und 3 Mal bitten immer noch nicht an unserem Tisch war um unsere Bestellung aufzunehmen, muss ich leider einen Stern abziehen.
Der restliche Trupp war aber sehr nett.
