Extensive Vegan Indian Menu - Edit
Super shocked at how good this Indian restaurant actually turned out to be! For it being in such a touristy area, I thought the food would be sub-par. In fact, they ended up being one of the best meals I had in Lisbon.
Read moreThey had an entirely vegan menu available with most items costing around 8€, which is not bad compared to prices in the U.S. I ordered the Baigan Bartha which is my go-to eggplant, onion, and tomato dish that I enjoy at a lot of Indian restaurants. I also ordered a side of roti which they checked to make sure butter or ghee was not used in the preparation process.
My dish had so much flavor and came with a lot too. The roti was fine and was really used as a vehicle to transport the eggplant to my mouth. Really glad I was able to find this spot and enjoy the food here!
I do wish that the curries or mains would include rice instead of having that be an add-on. But that's a small note in an otherwise great meal.

There is an entire page of vegan options and if you want to order bread the Tandoori Roti (ask for no butter) is your option. The mixed vegetable curry is super flavorful and the staff was friendly. Very happy with the taste of the food!

5 stars! Best indian food in town - Edit
It feels wrong not to be able to grant this place five stars, as it really deserves it. I have had the best indian meal of my life. Out of the twelve vegan dishes I chose the achari gobi massala, which had an extremely well balanced and interesting taste.
