Beautiful space for seating

The food was really good but the waiter did not understand what Vegan was and served us cheese even though we clarified Vegan but they did take it back and make a new one. The tofu salad was the best tofu we have had in ages but was very expensive for what it was. We have a vegan blog www.plantbasedescape.com check it out for Vegan recommendations in central America also follow our Instagram @plantbasedescape

Nice courtyard area

Gaia Forest was a nice place for lunch with a beautiful courtyard, however, the food really wasn’t that memorable. I had the vegetable burrito and asked for no cheese as well as a side of refried beans. A good filling burrito but not a lot of flavour unfortunately.

(3.5) Beautiful spot & coffee, food good not great

A fresh courtyard garden right by the main square. A number of food options that were good but not great. Strong but delicious coffee.

Great

Beautiful place and very nice staff, they helped me pick a vegan dish. I had Tempisque Burrito with extra tofu and it was very good. Also had a fresh coconut but too bad they can’t open it so I could eat it.

Beautiful space

Such a beautiful hidden place! We ordered Azulillo Pintando switched goat cheese for avocado and tahini dressing instead of mustard vinaigrette and added extra Tofu. Very delicious but the portion too small for its price.

Pros: The taste and combination, The atmosphere

Cons: Small Portions

Vegan modifications are no problemo at Gaia Forest

Wonderful spot in Granada. Beautiful casual dining room and outdoor space. The staff is incredibly accommodating and knows exactly what modifications need to be made to menu items to achieve vegano 😄. The coffee is out of this world and there is a great selection of dairy alternatives including almond and coconut.

My goto work spot in Granada

Excellent food and drink, good wifi, and either a nice garden view, or you can look out on a plaza. Also sells some cosmetics which, if not vegan, are probably as vegan as you're going to find in Granada. Nothing but good things to say. Getting hungry just thinking about my usual 2 or 3 sides of delicious grilled tofu :)

Healthy food, amazing coffee

The cafe is not vegetarian but it is veggie friendly (I sent an update to happycow). There are a few vegan items on their menu of salads, soups, and sandwiches. I had the peanut soup which was absolutely delicious and a side kale salad which was alright. You can order the frozen cappuccino with plant milk, I did an almond coconut mix and it was dang good. They don't mind if you sit and work for a while, there are outlets next to the tables outside so you can work next to the garden. Great spot for strong tasty coffee and a healthy meal. Prices a bit high by Nicaragua standards but worth it.

Fair Trade and Plant-Based in Granada!

Wonderful cafe with seating in a pretty garden in the back. Nearly everything is vegan. Delicious and fresh coffee and healthy beverages, smoothies, and salads. Also offers nice breakfast alternatives. On one visit I had a sandwich and the bread was very hearty and flavorful. To keep it its optimum, in the future, I would ask for the veggies and bread to be served side-by-side.

The cafe also sells fresh turmeric root and local organic greens that you can take home. A fair-trade and plant-based ethic pervades. It is a great experience to walk into a place and have so many enticing options and the ability to keep coming back and trying new things.

Pros: Fair-trade and plant-based ethic, Fresh and organic food, Lots of options

Cons: Some of the cooked items could be a little lighter
