They have ≈9 vegan dishes and an option where you get 3 smaller portions of different vegan dishes.

Great experience - Edit
First time trying Ethiopian food, very delicious. Clearly marked vegan options, had the Vegan special which was a mix of 3 menu options with 3 Injera rolls for 215 NOK. Place looked nice and clean, got decently crowded on friday just after opening.

Healthy, delicious and authentic - Edit
Very well crafted atmosphere with an authentic Ethiopian, unique touch to the whole place. It helps that I also had a wonderful meal. The vegan options are clearly labelled (along with a whole vegan section) and are varied.

Go here if you’re in Stavanger - Edit
Would give them 5 stars if I could. Best food I had in Stavanger. Already a fan of the cuisine, but this place is the best I’ve had yet. We had the 3 person spicy vegan plate and loved it a lot. Especially the chickpea balls in brown sauce.

Unique restaurant in Stavanger - Edit
Gådjå is a wonderful restaurant, with a lot of charm and very tasty food. All dishes are traditional Ethiopian cuisine based mostly on beans and lentils spiced with Berbere.

Top notch Ethiopian food with plenty of vegan options - Edit
From the outside the restaurant looks a bit shady but this all changes once you get inside! They have a very atmospheric indoor decor that will get you in the mood for good food. I had the Vegan Special Beyeaynetu which was a combination sample of multiple of their vegan offerings. The food was incredible: it was fulfilling, well-spiced, and flavourful. All main courses are served with injera bread. Which is lovely by itself. A great place to have dinner! Make sure to end it with an Ethiopian coffee. 👌😻

Very good - Edit
Lots of vegan options - and a mixed platter to try them all. Yummy and filling (all those lentils...). None of the vegan options are spicy as in hot, but they are full of flavour.

Tasty Food with Vegan Options - Edit
The food was flavourful. I had not tried Ethiopian before so didn't know what to expect. The bread that came with the meal was cold and had the texture of a spongy crepe.

Yummy! - Edit
The staff here are super friendly and the place has a really nice atmosphere! There is a whole vegan section to the menu with quite a few choices. We took the sharing plate and it tasted really good. It's kind of expensive but so is everything in Stavanger, so we just went for it and it's worth it!

Eat exotic food with your hands - Edit
Eating here is an experience more than just a meal. The food is served on large "enjera", (Ethiopian pancake like bread) and you eat it with your hands, by ripping a piece of the enjera and using that to pick up the various stews and mashes. It's very different to western food and delicious. They have a vegan menu, and are a popular place for local vegans. The atmosphere is also very nice.
