It's so nice to find a fish and chip shop that does banana blossom 'fish'. We ordered for delivery and it was lovely, but we must have ordered far too much as the portions were huge.

I didn't want to call ahead as I went when it opened. Found out the chips are always vegan and so are the mushy peas. The chips were great. Proper chips shop chips. Given 4 stars for effort

Gabbys chippy is an amazing find in bridlington. Such an amazing place that has separated fryers for vegan items and they even cut the chips crinkled for vegans. Had the most amazing mushy pea fritter that I havent had since becoming vegan and also these little sage mash potato patties! My veggie children were extremely happy to be able to have a menu to choose from and not just have chips, and hubby was happy as he got his fish. The owner and staff are delightful and made my husband feel welcome (he went in to get as I am disabled) and were so friendly. Would recomend to everyone.

Amazing Vegan Chippy! - Edit
Drove an hour and half for a chippy by the sea, saw on happy cow they had vegan menu, so drove here first to get, forgot to order in advance but we walked to the pub had a drink and then went back half an hour later and it was ready! .... ordered pea fritter, 2 soya sausages and chips and it was plenty for 2 of us! Beautiful ! Vegan gravy and mushy peas! Was delicious! Would highly recommend! Just remember to phone up to order if you don’t want to wait as they fry in different frier!

Gabby's Chippy has a separate vegan menu and cooks all vegan food separately too. Order must be phoned through in advance (at least half an hour). Food is excellent and plentiful. I particularly recommend the Hullish Patty. Owner was friendly and helpful.

Vegans besides the seaside! - Edit
Order placed and cooked to order. Would recommend grabbing a menu and phoning it through. The largest pea fitter I've ever seen & delicious battered pineapple ring too. Herby gravy and sweet tangy curry sauce to dunk the chips in. This is a gem to find, will be back for more.
