Still Going Strong in Milwaukee

We first came across this place as a food vendor at a local street festival and noticed they offered a vegan spring roll. I LOVE spring rolls and it can be hard to find vegan ones in Milwaukee, so naturally I had to try theirs. Wonderful! What a great flavor, the Sweet Potato and Black Bean spring roll, served with a great tasting dipping sauce. While we sat on the curb and enjoyed our snack, all of a sudden a push-up contest started right in front of us! It looked like the owner of Funky Fresh did 60 push ups, then another man who appeared to maybe be a firefighter did 61 push ups. Then a little boy got in on the fun and did a bunch of push ups, too, to a big round of applause. They got the crowd on the sidewalk cheering for this impromptu contest and we rooted for all three! Great fun, and great food. Thanks for dinner and a show. :)
