Lazy Lunch Menu - Edit
I had dinner here a few months ago and was underwhelmed overall but really enjoyed some of the items. I was curious enough to try it again and came back a few days ago for lunch. A place that brands itself as gourmet should be embarrassed to offer such a lazy menu. The food is mediocre at best. Only carrot hot dogs, burgers, Philly cheese steak and other fast food style items that don't even look appetizing for fast food in the photos. I don't mind vegan fast food but if you're a gourmet restaurant you should put some effort and originality into it and make it unique and presentable. Other casual dining vegan places have much better food. The service was great and the place is very cute. I hope they make some changes to live up to the gourmet title. #Veganuary

The food was good too but not impressive, and it was slightly overpriced in my opinion. The service charge (18%) is included in the bill but you still get asked whether you want to tip on top of that or not which feels a bit unfair IMO.
Overall, the experience was certainly positive and I would recommend Full Bloom, however there are better vegan restaurants in South Beach.

I had the Lettuce Wraps and Frutti Di Mare. Both dishes tasted excellent while I did have to ask for a green without holes in it. For a $21 dish I felt it was a reasonable ask. The Frutti Di Mare was also tasty and balanced. But the king oyster mushroom scallops could have had more flavor and maybe cooked a bit crispier, despite not cooking well at high heat in order to maintain a tender, full and firm texture. The staff was very friendly and helpful as I was a bit bewilder by the layout of the restaurant. Also considering the server was only less than a week on the job made things a bit rocky at first (no fault of the server). My first table had too many mosquitos for my tolerance. “Indoor” seating consist of a shed size area with what appeared to be a “full service” bar amongst 4 tables for 2. I felt I was not getting the entire experience and asked to be seated in the main area, which according to the staff was mistaken for the hotel (which it surrounds). Lastly the table I settled on was by the hotel pool with no mosquitoes to speak of. The most troubling aspect of my visit was the hotel visitor traffic thru the dining areas. Already with uncomfortable table and chairs, and seating arrangement, fine dining or not, made this physically one of the most uncomfortable restaurant outings in my entire time on this earth. Outside of the great food I could not in good conscious make a date of visiting here. Even if I’m not that into my date, I’d still have to pay on average $25-30 an entree, 18% service charge and $20 parking minimum (if you don’t get parking streetside). There’s more comfortable cheaper places for a first date or something. To conclude my meal, I was treated to a nice rain shower (on top of me and the table). Not even close to fine dining, I don’t think they’re trying to either (doesn’t mention fine dining on their website). But you will pay fine dining/premium prices for it.

I’m really confused about this place, because when you see the prices you think it will be an amazing gourmet dish… and what I found there was that the restaurant is in one building, and they use as terrace, the entrance of a hotel that is next door, so while you are eating your views are the checkin of the hotel, and there’s people passing between the tables with their baggage… strange…

I also ordered a Salad… very small… we ended up paying around $50 for a terrible dinner. I never leave a bad review, but this time I wish I had listen to the people that wrote something similar in the reviews.

Wow! Just wow, I'm so impressed! This vegan restaurant was unreal! Everything I got was so delicious! The loaded yuca fries were amazing I will be dreaming about them from now on lol The guava Bbq wings were so damn good! And the breakfast tacos were finger licking good haha!! I also had a margarita which was fantastic! I wanted to try the whole menu. I loved it 10/10 would go everyday if I lived in Miami!

I came to Full Bloom on vacation in South Beach. I had high hopes but was a little disappointed. We got the Caesar salad, Black Ravioli, Tempeh and Mac and cheese. The food was solid, don’t get me wrong, but I expect more from fine vegan dining in 2021. I’ve been vegan for about 10 years and this place reminded me of the raw/vegan spots I would go to when I first went vegan. There was a little too much nutritional yeast in everything, and not enough flavor. The tempeh was too sweet. I really wanted to love this place, I just wish they would elevate their flavors/techniques a bit.
