Amazing!!! - Edit
Beautiful restaurant with amazing view. Everything is vegan! And it's all so tasty! We ordered several tapas and loved them all. Lots of variety. And they have lots of vegan drink options including wines, beers, rum, tequila, and more. Everything was great including the chocolate lava cake! Can't wait to go again.

Fantastic food, friendly people, amazing view! - Edit
Full Bloom is a gift to the food scene in Miami. Don't be put off by the difficulty finding the place - it is well worth the strange location in a residential condo.
Read moreRide your bike or drive and park on the street and walk in. Phone ahead for a reservation and you won't have to sign in with security. Even if you drop in, signing with the fellow at the door is a small price to pay for the final product.
The food is great, the wait staff and the owners are lovely. The reservation you make should be on the patio so you can enjoy the spectacular view of South Beach.
We need these guys to succeed so do go if you are at all inclined. A fully vegan offering is good for you, the animals and the planet. Amazingly, they also make it taste great!
Pros: food choices, friendly staff, view to die for
Cons: location, parking

Elegant dining experience - Edit
I had not been to a vegan restaurant until I went to Full Bllom for dinner while visiting from Chicago. It was so refreshing to be presented with a lengthy menu that included a diverse flavor profile. As a new vegan I have been ordering salads and side dishes at most restaurants but I felt "home" again in a beautiful fine dining restaurant where I could order anything I wanted. The owners encourage visitors to call ahead to provide the best transportation option as parking can be challenging. And, if you enjoy key lime gelato, the homemade dessert is not to be missed.

Vegan Fine Dining - Edit
This place is beautiful and the food is innovative and taste good. However, it is quite expensive. For a three-course meal you should expect something like 75$ per person, so this is the kind of place you should go for a special occasion.

Great! - Edit
I ate at the full bloom this evening. The food was amazing, healthy and well well cooked. A real, fine, vegan restaurant in Miami beach, the first one! The place was also spectacular. From your table you have a sensational view of Miami.

Delicious food, pleasant and knowledgable staff!! - Edit
We live in NYC where there are quite a few vegan options, in Miami on vacation and found this little gem on Happy Cow. It was WONDERFULLLLL and it thoroughly deserves its 5 stars! I disagree with previous reviewer who took stars off for the parking situation and the fact that you can smoke outside here. It is legal to smoke in outside dining areas in FL and why should there not be the choice? Not all vegans are non smokers....
Read moreBack to the restaurant, the staff here are lovely!! Our server was vegan himself and really seemed to care about the restaurant and easily answered all our questions on the menu. I love that they care. He recommended some specials to us-my husband had the potato gnocchi with Milanese sauce (YUMMMM) and I had the tempeh scallopini with mushroom sauce-DELICIOUSSSSS! This was the best tempeh that I have ever had!!!! The atmosphere was very pleasant too, we sat outside with views of the water and little tea lights hanging from the tree branches.
All in all, i highly, highly recommend this place for vegans and non vegans alike. We will be back.
Pros: Delicious Food., Pleasant, knowledgable staff., Lovely dining atmosphere.

Good Vegan Food but 3 Disappointing Factors - Edit
We were a party of 4 last night when we dined at Full Bloom. It was pricey but I am honestly fine with paying more for vegan food than I paid for fine dining prior to becoming a vegan. It is a beautiful setting and we were offered outside seating. I was so excited until I received a response from this question: is the outside dining area non smoking? The waiter's response was : No, Florida law permits smoking in outside dining areas. Yes, that is true but it does not MANDATE it! Really, vegans are very health conscious people. I along with the majority of vegans became a vegan to promote healthy living. On what planet are you from to even consider allowing smoking anywhere that your patrons are dining. We got a table inside, it did have a view but not the view we would have enjoyed dining on the terrace. We ordered 2 appetizers- the plantain kabobs and the tempura. They were good but not excellent . The tempura had a sauce that was very fishy. For dinner one person had the fajitas ,he rated them on the low end of good. Nothing memorable and really not much to eat. I along with my friend ordered the eggplant dish. It was covered in panco crumbs and served with a delicious side salad and a diced vegetable dish. We agreed it was good but really lacked a sauce. We found the covering it with the salad greatly improved the dish. The last person ordered the special entree of the night -gnocchi . He was pleased with it and said they were good. Before dinner we were treated with a complimentary small taste of a cold gazpacho . It was delicious but salty. We did not have dessert because we were meeting another group later that evening. When our bill came I was very disappointed that a tip would be added to our check without the waiter telling us. I did not see this announced on the menu and honestly, we were a party of 4 not 6!This was somewhat offensive to me and my fellow diners. I am fine with a gratuity being added but I feel I should be informed. The last disappointing factor concerned parking. I do not live in the Miami area and therefore unfamiliar with the restaurant location. Two hrs. before our reservation I noticed a miss call from the restaurant. I called back and was informed there is no parking at their building and I could park at the Standard Hotel. It took about 30 min.to find because the sign for the hotel is located on the side and it was hung upside down! I was shocked that we were charged $30 for 2 hrs! We should have been told of this price!!

Excellent Restaurant & Wonderful Plant-based Food - Edit
Full Bloom is a great vegan restaurant located in a residential high-rise on Belle Isle. It is well worth the short taxi ride from South Beach and to see the lovely bay and sunset views.
Read moreWe are both vegans so going to Full Bloom was one of the highlights to our SoBe visit. The restaurant has a nice décor and the food is delicious. We had the eggplant steak with corn relish and salad and the second entrée was the soft tacos with wonderfully sautéed vegetables and salad. Even though the restaurant only opened in early August, service and food were wonderful. We will definitely be back when we next visit SoBe.
We highly recommend Full Bloom to all vegans and also people willing to try something other than unhealthy meat-based dishes. Thank you to the owners and staff for creating a great plant-based restaurant!

Mi dolce vida! - Edit
Thanks to you Full Bloom. Thanks to you. What used to be a wasteland of carnivores and rednecks and monumental moribund monstrosities of anti-mother nature miscreants is now home to my new favorite vegan restaurant in North America... Sorry Au Vivres Montreal. The distinction now lies with Full Bloom, the view for one, the staff for two, the food forever. Never leave me. A special place reserved in my heart like The Spy Who Loved Me, sheik, demure, sanguine, bathyculpian, and sheer perfection! Edible serendipity! Try everything. Vegan Tiramisu. This my friends is the spot. Venire una volta, venire mille volte! That's all I have to say about that. You rock Miami. Many blessings!

*Read end of review for parking tip*
Read moreAbsolutely perfect! Everything about this place is amazing! The food, the service, the view, the restaurant itself! Each thing we ordered was spectacular. Highly recommended the plantain shish kebabs! The special tonight was an Alfredo pasta- wonderful! The deserts are ALL good! The lava cake, well, takes the cake! You will enjoy every part of this view now matter what time of day.
The only issue is parking. They are brand new and inside a condo. There is no advertisement of the restaurant as you are driving and trying to find it. It is up the driveway of address #11 on island drive. However you can't park there. Best place to park is on Purdy avenue over the bridge. There's a little park with public parking. About a 5 minute walk, it's a lovely walk, so deal with it! Once you get inside you will realize how much that tiny walk was worth!
