Best Vegan Restaurant in SoFla

I've been to Full Bloom many times, also accompanied by people who are carnivores. None of us have ever been disappointed. The menu is extensive and changed periodically. Everything is so flavorful, fresh and tastes like nothing else in town. You can tell the dishes are all carefully conceived and masterfully prepared. Service is excellent and the ambience is very pleasant. If I had to choose an item from the menu I'd be undecided, but these are just some of my favorites: Tempura, Zucchini Parmigiana, Quinoa Balls, Leeks Crepe, Tiramisu and Cheese Cake.

FULL BLOOM OUT OF THIS WORLD

Me and my wife had a 3 course meal at Full Bloom sat outside with an amazing view over the water! Amazing Porcini soup, FULL of flavour, then lentil, sweet potato , black bean sliders were succulent juicy and full of flavour! The plantain in peanut sauce was very indulgent and very moorish!
For main I had Tempeh medallions which had the most succulent , indulgent , flavoursome sauce with the sauerkraut to add that sharp kick to the sweet sauce and tender medallions were beautiful! My wife had the kale lasagne which was so wholesome and succulent! Amazing! The dessert I chose was the tiramisu - which was OUT OF THIS WORLD! I've been looking for a vegan tiramisu for a long time and this blew me away! Best I've EVER HAD!! My wife had the chocolate ganashe with gelato and it was so so good! Sweet but not sickly and the texture was perfection! (I tried it aswell lol) it was amazing!!
We had such an amazing meal and the service from Kris was absolutely amazing/helpful and welcoming!! I've never had service as good as this even in the most expensive restaurants in London. The same hospitality was shown from the owner Omar! Who was amazing and was so passionate about food and the cause behind the restaurant!
One of the best RESTAURANTS we've EVER been to forget it being Vegan or non-Vegan! Thx u guys!!

Pros: service , food , location

Cons: none

Elegant Upscale and Delicious!

I had just been saying the day before visiting Full Bloom that there aren't enough elegant dinner restaurants for us vegans who don't want a little cafe or a casual takeaway atmosphere.
Full Bloom is everything I wanted and imagined for an elegant dinner restaurant and I would highly recommend it as a "must try" for any vegan in Miami.
The secluded area and slightly confusing parking and location aspects are completely outweighed by the spectacular food and experience!
My mom and I sat out on the deck and enjoyed an incredible view of the Miami skyline while we relished in each delicious, creative, and gorgeously presented dish. We ordered mushroom ceviche (amazing!), their raw carrot and Brazil nut soup (my favorite!), the jackfruit curry for our entree and the chocolate mouse pie for dessert. We also tried a fresh green juice with radish in it that was so unique and delicious and had two different kinds of red wine.
Everything was delicious with very fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation. The service was also spectacular and I felt like a princess the whole time!
If there's one restaurant you go to in Miami, it should be this one!

Pros: amazing service, views and food , lots of gluten free options , perfect for a fancy night out or a romantic dinner

Cons: parking can be a bit challenging , you have to wait in the lobby for a server to esco

Excellent meal!

We had an excellent meal at Full Bloom. Very creative items on the menu. We had the Kale Radicchio Edamame Dumplings and the Sun-dried Tomato Cauliflower Tartare with Avocado Mousse to start. For the main meal we had the Stuffed Baked Tomato over Polenta and the Homemade Spinach Gnocchi with Mint Sauce (especially tasty). Then the Tiramisu for dessert.

Service was outstanding, and we sat outside and enjoyed the view of Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline.

It's on the 2nd floor of a guarded condo building, so you have to be announced and they come and get you. This is easier if you have a reservation, which I did only because I called ahead of time to ask another question. This is mildly annoying but we got over it pretty quickly :-)

We also parked on Purdy Ave and walked the 5 minutes to get there. As you walk along Island Ave, it's the Costa Brava Condos—the 2nd major condo on Island Ave not the first.

Pros: Excellent vegan food, Attentive and caring waitstaff/owner, View of Biscayne Bay / Miami skyline

Cons: Condo is guarded and you need to be announced, Parking

Fancy Feast

Ate lunch here after cruise and it was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere is magical (inside & out, we sat outside).
I had skipped breakfast so got 2 meals: gnocchi with mint sauce, and the seitan cheeseburger. I also tried 1 of the dumplings my friends got. All 4 of us, including one omnivore, really enjoyed our meals.

Not a problem for me, but prices are high (& portions medium), as usual for fine dining. Also, this place was a little hard to find - it's inside a high rise that appears to be luxury condos. I would advise taxi or similar - parking may be tough (we took uber).

Pros: All vegan, Gourmet-quality, Delightful atmosphere

Cons: Expensive, Difficult to find at first

Magical Vegan Fine Dining

The food here is amazing! Non vegans would love it too. My husband is vegetarian and I'm vegan, so we booked a table here for our second anniversary. The ambiance is spectacular. Our server was very nice, and the food was really, really good. The portions are small, which is common with fine dining, however it's a little problematic with vegan food as it's not nearly as filling as the meat dishes at classic fine dining places. I had the sage ravioli which was excellent and my husband had the crepe. The restaurant is in a residential building and the parking situation is difficult, so walk (like we did) or take a cab. It's in the Costa Brava building. They don't have a sign or anything which is confusing, but I'm pretty sure that has to do with the building, and not the restaurant it self. Definitely check this place out! Its magical.

Pros: Romantic setting, Amazing food, Great service

Cons: Tricky to find, Small portions, A little pricey

Magical setting, with beautiful views. Delicious food, interesting menu. Excellent, patient and accommodating service. Thank you to our wonderful server, Eric and his helpful, courteous team. Thanks to Alessandro for a wonderful dining experience. Full Bloom is a gem.

It's in a residential condominium complex. Parking was a bit complicated.

Pros: excellent service, yummy, healthy food, beautiful setting

Cons: just need to know the parking situation in advance

Delish vegan dish

Went here while on a biz trip to Miami. Food was delicious and the location is amazing. Overlooking the marina tou can watch boats sail and enjoy the calming ocean in the terrace seating area or enjoy and equally calming meal inside with the zen atmosphere and meditative music playing in the background. The owner Alexander is such a gracious and friendly host. As others mentioned you will need to make reservations as the restaurant is located in a doorman luxury building.

Pros: Location, Food, Ambiance

Cons: Need reservation , Parking can be an issue, Away from main miami beach area

No walk in possible

With high expectations we decided to walk to Full Bloom, look at the menu and eventually eat there. The restaurant is in an apartment building and there is no chance to pass the security guard if you are not on the reservation list. He recommended we should call the restaurant because of this new security politics... We are from Europe and I didn't want to spent money on a phone call with my cell phone. So we had to look for another place to eat.

Great food

The quality of the food is really great. I've been there 3 times: once for lunch and twice for dinner. The menu does change a bit between the two times, but most of the dishes stay the same. Their hummus trio, raw ravioli, and tempura portobello are really unbelievable. The only down sides are that I'm not a huge fan of their dessert (the chocolate ganache is sickeningly sweet) and the food is quite pricey. The food portions can be a bit small if you are used to large portions. They only serve enough for you to be satiated.

Oh and if you want to order wine, the servers can explain how it is all organic and obviously vegan.

The atmosphere indoors and outdoors is amazing. The outdoor seating is surrounded by water with views onto the Miami skyline, and the inside of the restaurant is very nicely decorated with plants and string lights.

Pros: Food quality, Location, Nice atmosphere

Cons: Pricey, Desserts are extremely sweet

exquisite treat

What can I say besides that is was an amazing experience all around. From calling on the phone for directions to exquisite food to a warm goodbye, this restaurant exceeded my expectations. I went with my mom (who isn't vegan) and she enjoyed it just as much. They even offered us complimentary gazpacho! Everything we ate from appetizer, entrees, and dessert was just plain delicious. The obvious thing is the price as it is very expensive. For that reason only this restaurant is more of a special treat rather than our go-to vegan place.

BEST RESTAURANT EVER!!!

I was in town from San Francisco on vacation. I searched for Vegan Restaurants and came across Full Bloom. I read the reviews and they were outstanding! A fellow Vegan friend of mine joined me as this was his first time dining here too. We ordered the Cheesy Brussel Sprouts appetizer, the Escar-NO stuffed mushrooms, the Green Curry Bowl, the Ravioli and Sage, and the Mocha Ganache w/ Cappuccino ice cream for dessert. It was the most amazing meal i have ever had. The dishes popped with flavor! You don't have to be Vegan to find your favorite dish on this menu. I will come back every year and i will send all my friends from Miami. In addition to good eats, the wine list was amazing, the restaurant itself is very modern and beautiful, the location was very peaceful ( i recommend sitting out back by the water) and best of all, our waiter was so sweet, compassionate and well informed about Veganism and food in General. I would love to see a Full Bloom open in San Francisco !!! I give this place an A++++++

Pros: FOOD, WAIT STAFF, LOCATION

Cons: NO CONS

Beautiful location but not impressed.

Went here with my partner with high expectations. We had the Peruvian appetizer causa, the sushi roll, the pad Thai, and spinach gnocchi. The food was good and tasty but nothing outstanding that I could not make at home... It is a great place to bring nonveg people as it introduces them to familiar dishes without meat but we were really not impressed. With two appetizer and two entrees the total was 115$ including tip. Great owners but food was ok.

good vegan

my husband and I were at Full Bloom last evening. We were curious to try a gourmet vegan restaurant ( it was time to have one in Miami beach!!).
I wanted to try the raw menu and my choice of sprout salad with hemp seed dressing was very well presented and done.
My husband tried the raw vegan sushi and that was a very tasty and creative appetizer, too
I had then raw pasta alla puttanesca .I was happy of my choice because it was very well done, full of flavour and satisfying even though it was zucchini pasta. My husband wanted to try gnocchi 4 cheeses ( cooked) and that was a bit disappointing
to find that the flavour was not well done, not balanced, too sweety for something that promises "that" cheezy taste.
We ended with the tiramisu good, tasty and well presented, too.
I am grateful that 3 italian young men had the courage to open a gourmet vegan restaurant in Miami beach,it is a good start ( they opened August 2015) and we are sure they will be loved more and more.We will go back when we are in Miami again.

Pros: nice place, good tasty food, good service
