Perfect birthday dinner - Edit
I was taken to Full Bloom for my birthday. I loved the ambiance, the service ( they sang happy birthday to me when bringing out my lava cake; which was so good btw) and to have great tasting gluten free whole food with so many great options to choose from was divine.

Overpriced, not gourmet, not hot - Edit
Would have happily paid the prices listed if you walk away feeling amazed or satisfied. We were only amazed at the audacity of charging for luke warm tiny portions that weren’t even that fancy. Listing burgers and meatloaf as gourmet is a huge stretch.
Read moreThe ravioli was served at room temperature, and the Mongolia ‘beef’ was served with dry rice and overcooked lions mane mushroom. A shame for being some of the only food that sounded like it might actually meet the gourmet title.
The staff were absolutely lovely and very accommodating, keeping our waters topped up and hot water for the baby, very engaging and funny.
The only negative there being one guy cleared two of our plates while the third was still eating which just seems really unprofessional. Then cleared the final plate before the food had even been swallowed.

Mixed emotions - Edit
When something is labeled fine dining and gourmet I expect well balanced dishes, quality ingredients and not too large portions.
Read moreAppetizers, the lion's mane skewers and the ceviche. Skewers were nice. Ceviche was too large, like a main, and fridge cold.
Mains, the ravioli and the fried black rice. Ravioli was very thick I know it's not Italy... Black rice was way too salty, drenched in chinese soy sauce.
Just call it a vegan restaurant, serve your beyond burger and we won't expect a culinary experience.
Pros: Vegan
Cons: Service was lacking, Food was lacking some flavors or texture

Very nice experience - Edit
For the starter we went for a cheese platter (cashew based) with 3 types of cheese that prove you don't need dairy milk to make it taste amazing. The strawberry jam that came with it paired perfectly. For the mains we had the shogun noodles and the makhani, followed by a very chocolatey dessert each. We definitely felt full afterwards! On the pricey side though.

Pricey but nice - Edit
We've been there today and had an early dinner for two. It is the off season right now so it was still empty.
Read moreWe had the special (forgot the name, sorry), the shogun noodles and chocolate ganache cake. As well as wings, the burger and strawberry sauce cheesecake.
Some people said it's a bit pricey for what you get and I can see where they're coming from. However, if you don't mind your food being a bit more on the expensive side, you'll certainly be happy with what you get.
In general the food seemed high quality and each flavour was tuned to the perfect level. I'm certainly not a gourmet but they hit this certain sweet spot for me. For example: The burger was basic but a perfect demonstration of how I want a basic burger to taste.
If you can bear the climate you can enjoy your food on a nice terrace. If not, don't worry, they have a small inside area with a bar. It's a little hidden, right behind a pool. Either choice is nice though. Definitely a great ambience.
All in all a good place for a special dinner.
Pros: Great flavours, Fully vegan, Cute indoor area

Best vegan options in Miami Beach - Edit
Fabulous restaurant serving a great choice of vegan meals away from the fast food or salad bowl alternatives. Great flavours and friendly staff too! I’ve got various other dietary needs (gluten free and no nuts) and main allergens were clearly labelled on the menu and staff were knowledgeable.

One of the best vegan restaurant experiences we had in Miami.

The personal was super friendly!
A bit expensive still for what it is, but maybe this is Miami in general.
Pros: Food, Personal, Ambiente
Cons: A bit far away to walk, Hotel entrance right at the tables

Really good - Edit
The tacos, ravioli, and haupia were all amazing. I got this as part of the Miami Spice special and it didn’t disappoint. The toasted Mac nuts on the haupia were so amazing and the sundried tomato ravioli was just such a good dish. Our server was actually one of the owners and he was such an amazing and passionate guy. Highly recommend.

I love Full Bloom. First and foremost excellent friendly service provided by Francesco and Jenny. I dined at the bar. Amazing ambiance. I loved the artwork and the bookshelf had some unique reads on it. I am a bibliophile aka lover of books.
Read moreI went with the Roasted Tenderloin upon Francesco’s recommendation. The Chickpea steak with sweet potatoes and brussel sprouts was all done up to perfection. Everything is made in house. It was filling and flavorful made with whole foods which is the way I like to eat and best of all everything is full vegan. Nice atmosphere and a short walk from South Beach. Recommended!

Great outdoor setting on the porch of a hotel. Buffalo cauliflower and pickles were perfect. Lots of vegan restaurants have buffalo cauliflower as an appetizer. These were a cut above most. I also got lions mane mushrooms in a lemongrass pork style. They were served with leaves of lettuce to make lettuce rolls. The only thing we weren't crazy about was the tarmisu for desert. I recommend getting something else.

Zero stars wtf - Edit
We ate at Planta (highly recommend) for dinner and when they were out of the dessert we wanted we decided to stop at Full Bloom to end the evening. REGRET REGRET REGRET. The four of us each ordered a dessert and we all agree it was incredibly disappointing. We waited over 30 minutes for our order, which wouldn’t have been an issue if it were worth the wait. We ordered 3 of the salted caramel chocolate lava cakes and one strawberry cheesecake. First off, the portion sizes were insulting. It was way too small to justify the price tag. 16 dollars for something that fits in the palm of my hand…yikes. Second, when I cut into the lava cake, the molten center was not molten, it pooled out onto the plate like water! I was surprised but thought I wouldn’t judge by its appearance. Unfortunately, what you saw was what you got because the flavor was essentially nonexistent. You initially get hit with a bitter chocolate flavor that quickly tapers off into bland nothingness. It came with a tiny scoop of ice cream. Admittedly, I am not a huge fan of coconut milk based ice creams since they have an icey factor that I don’t find enjoyable, but sometimes I am willing to look past it for the right flavor profile. The accompanying ice cream was equally as bland as the cake. The salted caramel sauce is easily the worst I’ve ever tasted. Not only did it also have an oddly watery consistency, the flavor was borderline rancid. It had an acidity to it that was unpleasant and overall didn’t taste anything like salted caramel. My fathers strawberry cheesecake, also insultingly tiny, tasted nothing like strawberry. It was a plain cheesecake with a mystery jam on top and a few pieces of fresh strawberry as a garnish. The cheesecake itself was less then decent (again why is everything so bland!) and the jam was so weak that I couldn’t tell what it was suppose to taste like. Certainly not strawberry or any other fruit. It basically tasted like the IDEA of fruit and had a baby food consistency. Was it guava? Was it Apple? Don’t ask me cuz I wouldn’t tell you. You’re a gourmet restaurant! How the hell do you fail at lava cake and cheesecake?! This experience left me baffled how this place had such glowing reviews and in no hurry to return to try anything else from the menu, dessert or otherwise. Oh and did I mention the automatic 18% service charge? Yeah. 81 dollars for the worst dessert I’ve ever had. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Save your money and your time. Go to Planta instead.
