Nice spot to grab a juice or smoothies after a hike. I like the food enough to keep coming back, but honestly, it’s fairly bland. 3 out of the 4 times I’ve gone, the staff left me feeling as though I’m bothering them by placing an order. I’m guessing they’re understaffed and stressed. Weird vibes. I witnessed a customer who has been waiting for about twice as long as everyone else politely explaining to a staffer that they didn’t order what they were being given, and the staffer didn’t offer to correct it. He said “oh, they must have misheard you.” And the customer looked really disappointed and confused. They settled on a completely different meal from what they wanted to spend their money on. Bad customer service.

I’ve eaten here a few times. It’s definitely bang for your buck and filling, but I feel it lacks flavor. Cool vibe, people running it are so friendly and I love their juice station! Great place to smash back from ginger shots.

This place reminded us so much of vegetarian restaurants from the 90s. It is up the street from the Ayurvedic college so you can definitely feel the influence.

What we needed, without knowing we needed it. - Edit
Stopped in for lunch the day after Thanksgiving and grabbed the breakfast wrap (with tofu, vegan cheese and avocado) and the vegan pot roast stew with toast and salad. That wrap was one of the best I’ve had, but the stew was a show stopper. It’s hands down the most flavorful and hearty stew I’ve had in the last decade. If I could have two more things in life it would be the recipe for the stew and ingredients to make a bathtub full so I could share it with non-vegans who say they don’t like vegan food.

Breakfast sandwiches! Smoothies! Lunch! - Edit
This is the only local place I know with vegan breakfast sandwiches! They also have delicious smoothies, and other great food and snack options. Lovely outdoor seating area and a small section of indoor seating. The one con is the service is generally slow, but I think that’s because making mainly smoothies is a time-intensive operation!

See what I did there? Lol. But honestly, really good food and juice! Had the California wrap with tempeh and it was so good! Also had the middle eastern with falafel AND hummus and it was tasty too…but the California wrap was still my fav! Also had a carrot and apple juice and it was delicious too!

Delicious vegetarian (mostly vegan) food. The wraps are huge are only $11.50, and comes with a side salad. Seems to be A very popular place in Nevada City. We are here on our way up to the Sierras and it was so good we ate there again on our way home. Recommend!!

We lived here 13 years ago and loved this place. We are delighted to be back in this area and thoroughly happy Fudenjuce is still here. Very thrilled to find the vegan options like BLT sandwich - Benevolent with sietan. The smoothies are over the moon delicious and a grand selection. We look forward to stopping here enroute to anywhere. A great and delicious selection of baked goods.

I got one of the rice bowls and the burguer. You can feel that what you're eating is fairly healthy and pretty tasty, especially that green sauce that comes with the burguer omg. However, portions are a bit small according to the price

We enjoyed our chicken free pesto wrap, quesadilla made vegan on request and the banana-cinnamon smoothie.
The place has a relaxed and casual atmosphere. Has outside and inside seating.

This little hidden shack is the best treasure that I stumbled on in all of northern California. It has a menu that is larger than the entire building, and everything that I have ever tried is amazing. My favorite is the Greek wrap on a spinach tortilla, which is large enough to feed 2 people, or enough food to have the second half later. The green goddess dressing is to die for (made in house.) Their homemade chai is incredible, also: just spicy enough to make you tingle inside!! Stop by and try...they will not disappoint!!! yummmmmm
