A 100% plant-based all-day brunch restaurant since 2020 specializing in eggs Benedict, açaí bowls, burgers, assorted pastries, specialty coffee, juices, smoothies, more. Everything is made from scratch in the Frutas Prohibidas workshop including vegan meats, eggs, cheeses, breads, and more. No reservations but has a booking system at busy times where a table can be requested and a wait time is given. Open Wed-Sun 10:00-18:00.

For Vegans, Breakfast and lunch get left behind or stripped down to basics; We get avocado toast or the occasional tofu scramble. Frutas Prohibidas has decided to provide something more and provide it at an extremely high level.
Read moreThe Eggs Benedict (no matter the style you choose) is a marvel of vegan ingenuity. I was stunned by the texture of the outside. I was stunned again when I cut through it to find the gooey yoke. I've never had anything like it in my life. Paired with the hollandaise sauce, truffle pearls, and parmesan cheese, It becomes the perfectly concocted dish.
We also ordered two drinks: the Red velvet latte (Beet and chocolate) and the blue latte (Spirulina). The red velvet latte has a delicate taste, but the Spirulina was wonderfully sweet and full of flavor.
The sleek, modern decor is comforting and cool. Get there early because the place fills up quickly, watching as multiple groups were turned away within the first half an hour of opening. You will not be disappointed.

Walk a ways up...up. Winding streets and found this wonderful cozy restaurant with a beautiful waitress named Tammy, in English she helped us order eggs Benedict and Baconator sandwich. They were beyond good. 5 stars.

The egg benedict is really a show. Indont know how they do it, but it seems to be a chicken egg. The taste could be more eggy in my opinion but the whole meal with pulled pork and thi egg on top is tasty.

Les sandwiches / brioches sont incroyables. Les 'œufs' sont tellement réalistes, on se demande comment c'est fait ! Tout est très bon, en quantités correctes et le staff est très sympa ! Fui porque decía que era de los mejores recomendados pero la verdad es que se me hizo muy salado y para nada me gustaron los sabores. El sándwich de huevo no me lo pude comer ni a la mitad del sabor, no me gustó para nada. Pedí también una golden milk y esa si estuvo buena. Se ve muy instagrameable eso si, pero a los que nos gusta comer sí que nos decepcionan estas cosas. Prefiero que se vea feo pero que esté delicioso y no al revés.

Love the food there! Super inventive spin on brunch classics. Also some unique food items you would never expect to be vegan like realistic eggs! I have taken non vegan/vegetarian friends and they have been very impressed.

Service is always friendly and food is quite quick. Love going here it’s always the nicest brunch and best way to spend a weekend morning.
If you go on the weekend for brunch often you need to wait for the table but if you sign up for the wait list the system texts you when your table is ready so it’s nice to sit in a nearby park
