All-you-can-eat buffet with tons of options and clear labeling for vegan vs vegetarian - Edit
On the 8th floor of Far Eastern Department Stores, this all-vegetarian buffet has a huge variety of foods served, from Japanese to Chinese to dishes with some Western influences, with every dish prepared to perfection. I especially enjoyed the sushi and nigiri, and the fact that I could try just one slice of each type offered instead of having to commit to eating an entire roll like at a regular sushi restaurant! The clear labeling (once translated) made avoiding the non-vegan items a breeze. Around 75% of the dishes are vegan.
As a non-speaker of Chinese, I appreciated the English labels on everything. However, the dietary information was only in Chinese. Vegan options are labeled "素" inside a green leaf. Items with milk or egg are missing the "素" label and instead have an orange icon with "蛋" inside for egg and/or a light green icon with "奶" inside for milk. I was also unclear on how payment worked as this is my first day in Taiwan. I paid up front and got assigned and shown to a table, after which I was free to grab a plate and fill it up. But I noticed some tables had a server come to them and were paying at the end of their meal. I'm not sure why some people were paying a different way.

Pros: Variety, Flavorful, high quality, Clear labels to distinguish vegan vs vegetarian
Cons: Dietary labels in Chinese only, Staff has minimal English skills
