A different place to have brunch - Edit
This is a quirky little restaurant with a quirky menu. Still, it’s somewhere different for brunch if you want a change from the usual. They have a couple of variations of tofu scramble, either as just tofu or tofu with veggies. They also do vegan egg Bennie which is made with a savoury mochi that looks like a boiled egg. The downside is the food is a bit on the greasy side.

Lots of options. - Edit
They were four pages of the menu that had vegan options which is awesome. I only tried the pho saute which was good but the peanuts were soggy. I prefer the pho from dang good. I would definitely come back to try more options.

Great separate Vegan/Vegetarian menu - Edit
Edmonton has another great option for vegan and veggie pho. I had not been to this Whyte Avenue for years, and a veg friend suggested that we try it. What a fabulous treat. A separate and full vegan and vegetarian menu that is well marked and described and will leave you wanting for nothing.
Read moreI’m a lover of Pho and especially of Vegan Satay Soup and the broth and generous helpings of noodle and vegetables is all of their soups are worth multiple trips!
Good spring rolls, salad rolls and Green onion cakes.
I’ll be back to make my way through the rest of the menu.
A great small family run business with friendly and delightful staff.
Unpretentious. Warm. A place you would want to call “your favourite spot”!
Pros: Lots of vegan options , Great value, Great food all around

Homey - Edit
The viet food is delicious and taste very homey. Love going there. I had also ordered the hollandais eggz benny. It was very good but the coconut taste was a bit too powerful for me.

Family favourite - Edit
Great place with friendly servers. They make a vegan eggs Benedict with mungbeans which is awesome. Their vegan soy bacon is incredible also. Lots of vegan items on their breakfast and lunch menu. A great place to go for families that are vegan / non vegan

Cheap and good eats - Edit
This place is awesome for well priced vegan breakfast/brunch. They sort of have something for every craving you may have that day, which sometimes makes choosing one thing difficult! They have a whole veg menu which has incredible food, and it’s all very cheap for portion sizes. Can not recommend it enough!

Meat in vegan food! - Edit
I ordered the vegan satay noodle soup and found beef in it after I’d already finished half of it. I asked the waitress to inform the kitchen of the mistake, and they took it off of our bill, but I will never eat there again.

Very friendly, very yummy - Edit
We really enjoy our first visit to this cafe, which is better called a restaurant since they had a lot to choose from. They had so many vegan options we couldn’t decide! But we tried the dumplings (very good),soups and vermicelli bowl ( a bit too spicy for me, but i think it was the sauce I added). There was so much left we had to bring some home. Very friendly service!

Great for breakfast and pho! - Edit
I've lived in the Whyte Avenue area for years and have always enjoyed breakfast and Friends and Neighbors, but I love them even more now that they keep adding great vegan options to their menu. The tofu scramble with soy "bacon" is yummy, as is the veggie breakfast sandwich. And they have two types of vegan pho. Ask for the vegetarian menu, and also take a look at the specials boards on the wall as they have many more veggie dishes listed there.

A go-to place for delicious vegan pho - Edit
Ask for the vegetarian menu when you arrive. The staff are really good about helping to differentiate vegan options from the rest of the vegetarian menu. My personal recommendation is the Buddha Pho, it's a bit spicy and it has basically every vegetable known to man in it (I even found a brussel sprout!). For dessert, try the golden pie, I know cassava sounds like a weird thing to make pie from, but it's actually very good. :)
