A lifesaver - Edit
Fresko inspires even though there are many things it could store; after all, it is not a plant-based store. We stumbled upon this Comer (Supermarket) hybrid, [Think of City Market in San Miguel de Allende - another La Comer concoction].
Read moreHere we have enjoyed visiting regularly in the last months finding different brands of vegan cheese and frozen vegan proteins.
They have probably the best supermarket level produce in this area (compare to Soriana or even Chedraui).
They have Kirkland brand items (nuts, chips and nut butter) as well as Mexican brands of biscuits, cookies and cereals.
They have vegan pasta, gnocchi and Hunts vegan tomato sauce. Also, some vegan vitamins and protein powder, as well as Harina PAN (Venezuelan - arepas). They even have Braggs nutritional yeast (this can be quite expensive).
