Serves meat, vegan options available. This cafe offers local, organic, and gluten-free cuisine (difficult to find in Wilmington) with very limited choices for vegans. Usually has a vegan soup. Mother & daughter owners. SHUT OCT 2015.
awesome spot, great atmosphere, super friendly people! the food is great--especially being that it is local & organic--and a nice selection of veg options are available. if you are in the area, look for this little gem!!
This small cafe serves wonderful vegan and non-vegan breakfasts and lunches Tuesday to Saturday. The food is great. The owners are accommodating and excellent.
This is a fantastic café with many vegetarian options, and almost all (if not all) the ingredients come from local, organic farms. There are fewer vegan options but still some, including a great veggie burger, some wonderful soups, and of course salads. There is a regular "raw food" option which is not only vegan, but raw, and these are very creative and delicious. There is always a vegetarian special entree, and soup (the vegetarian soup is usually vegan). For the non-vegans, the quiches are to die for, and the pancakes (on the weekends).
There is some reason they don't like tofu, but I think it was more complicated than the explanation given by the previous reviewer.
This cafe is in my neighborhood and the one and only time I went there I suggested they add tofu to the menu for us vegans since the menu is basically lacto-ovo and non-vegetarian focused organic food. It's one of those places where after you have them remove all the non-vegan products from your sandwich, you're left with bread and veg. The daughter-owner replied "we don't serve tofu (or any tofu products) because you cannot buy organic tofu. Organic tofu does not exist." She would not hear otherwise. Cest la vie.

Those were her exact words. Nothing cryptic there.
