Lots of great options - Edit
I particularly love their big breakfast plate, french toast, protein shakes, crispy dumplings and tacos. Tip: they do happy hour deals too.

One of the best vegan restaurants - Edit
Delicious but expensive. Try their poutine! I wish they had a mild option for dragon fries and cauliflowers as they're too spicy for me.

Balance Bowl for the win - Edit
I've had more Balance Bowls than I can count! They are one of my favourite things to order when I'm in TO. Love their smoothies, wraps, bowls. A great go-to. Maybe a little pricey but I love my Balance Bowls so much, I don't really care 😅

Amazing vegan place - Edit
Came in on a Saturday for lunch and the dining area was a bit packed. The service was a bit slow but understandable due to the busy location. The food was fresh and tasty. The crispy dumplings had a creamy vegan mayo sauce, and I enjoyed the thin-crust pizzas. The dragon fries were French fries with miso gravy and banana chilies on top, but nothing too special about it. The decor and atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and relaxing. Overall, a good place to sit down with family or friends and have a nice meal, especially during the weekends

Delicious Food, but Pricey - Edit
Fresh is probably my favourite restaurant chain. I absolutely love the food. Also, they are always willing to take out the jalapenos from the 9-layer burrito for me (I can't handle the spice). The only downside is the price. Too expensive for me to go as often as I would like (but not out of line with what you pay at any other sit-down restaurant).

Cons: Pricey (about $20 per entree plus tax and tip), Can be crowded and noisy

Best meal out in Toronto - Edit
We enjoyed an amazing meal for a family of four including one picky meat eater and one gluten-free. Everyone said this fully vegan meal was hands down the best meal out we’ve had whilst on holiday! I enjoyed the all star, and my meat eating brother had the beyond cheeseburger (he didn’t suspect a thing and seemed to enjoy it far more than meat!), my gluten free father had the power house bowl and my mum had the buffalo wrap with a side of poutine- our first try of the Canadian classic!!

I've been at Fresh on Eglinton a number of times and also at their Spadina location. A great menu with tasty food. Enjoyed their black bean burger and fries with vegan mayo. Great smoothies too. Price is reasonable. Staff are very friendly.

One of the OG vegan restos in Toronto that never lets down. Resos accepted. Gigantic menu that covers all bases. Friendly service. Wine Wednesday’s. Savoury and sweet. Big portions. Affordable. Can’t go wrong with Fresh on Eg!

Fave Fresh Location - Edit
This location is the most spacious of their restaurants, which are always packed and often cramped (for good reason, as the food is great!). Almost 100% vegan menu aside from some items/add-ons which are clearly marked. So many options it's hard to choose, but I've never had anything I didn't love here. Desserts are all vegan.

Not impressed... - Edit
I didn't realise that it was a franchise(since I am from abroad)...the food was okay and the prices also, but I was really irritated by the the waitress who came every 5 minutes to our table to claim dishes etc.and ask for payment. That destroyed the whole atmosphere and though she said that“we are invited to stay as long as want“,I didn't feel that way.And I lost my intention to tip her ,also...

Freshtastic! - Edit
Great spot on Eglinton East with an extensive menu. I've been there twice for lunch now (will definitely return on my next visit back to my hometown) and both experiences were great. I can personally vouch for the quinoa onion rings, buffalo wrap, and Buddha bowl - everything was definitely "fresh"-tasting and delicious. Not sure why dairy and honey are on the menu as there is definitely enough choices without them. However, don't let that deter you.

Pretty good - Edit
The menu is a mix of healthy and fast food style food. There is something for everyone -- for the healthy conscious eaters and for those who are junkies. Prices are reasonable for Toronto, and you get huge portions for your meal. The desserts by Sweets from Earth are amazing! The Chocolate Fudge Cake is a must! Overall, pretty good for a chain restaurant.

One of my favorites in Toronto! - Edit
Fresh is one of my favorite restaurants in Toronto. The Yonge and Eg location is quite large and has a good amount of seating (including outdoors). I have yet to try anything at Fresh that I haven't enjoyed, though I do certainly have my favorite items on the menu.
Read moreFav items: Phytosalad, Tiger bowl on soba noodles, Green poutine, and BBQ burger. Also, the small soup, salad, cornbread combo is a really good deal, and the soups tend to be very healthy and tasty.
All their desserts are from Sweets from the Earth, so they are all very delicious.
They do take-out really well (efficient and all compostable materials), and they have an amazing take-out deal every weekday. Mon-Fri from 3pm-6pm, there is a menu item that is 50% off. Just call ahead or stop by to find out what the item is.
Pros: delicious food, good for take-out, daily 50% off special
Cons: some items are a bit pricey

Superb Health Meals - Edit
I've been to Fresh twice, and both times everything was fantastic. The menu is HUGE and so the choices are abundant. It just gives more opportunity to come back to try everything. I love the healthy vibe of the restaurant and the fact that you can customize most of the menu options. Their matcha latte is fabulous, and their fresh pressed juice is very refreshing as well. The dosas are a smash hit for appetizers, and I love the bowls they have. Everything is so filling and nutritious that you just can't help going for dessert after ;)

As good as the other locations - Edit
I had the usual experience of eating at this chain: helpful and friendly staff, and a hearty meal. It can be a bit pricey depending on what you order, but I'd gladly pay every time for a delicious, vegan meal from a locally owned business.
