A pleasant surprise! - Edit
A hidden gem in a region without a lot of vegan options. It’s located inside a senior living neighborhood so the atmosphere is slightly odd, but the restaurant is open to the public and the food is great! Service can be slow at times, but very friendly and accommodating!

New Vegan Menu to be rolled out! - Edit
Met Chef Justin, who is in the process of introducing a new menu. He was happy to discuss our Vegan, no oil, nuts, or avocado diet requirements. He quickly prepared 2 dishes for us. The Jackfruit tacos were a delight. Pickled onions, red cabbage, tomatoes and a side of wild rice was a taste sensation. The pasta dish had a tasty marinara sauce studded with meaty mushroom pieces and was very filling. Don't know if these two dishes will make the final cut on the new menu, but we will be back to see what Chef Justin has on offer.
Read morePros: Chef very knowledgeable about vegan cuisine.
Cons: Cant give 5 stars since other options, are available.

Unique - Edit
The venue in itself is unique as it is located inside a community, consisting of independent, assisted, and full-care living. It has a semi-hospital-like yet, at the same time, semi-fancy atmosphere to it. The waitresses were all very friendly and readily answered questions regarding the menu and the facility. The vegan menu is, in my opinion, unique. Other places offered vegan items are roasted veggies and greens, which is fine, but I was impressed by the creativity of their options. The service was a tad slow, especially since there weren't very many other patrons. But I chalked that up to perhaps they were busy preparing food for the residents, and because I'm sure the food is freshly prepared. At any rate, it wasn't so long that it would prevent me from coming here again. I had the cauliflower steak. It was soft, yet it still maintained its shape. The puréed sweet potato made it creamy and the roasted red pepper and pomegranate sauce was a nice surprise every time you found a bite with a dollop of it. The only thing I wasn't fond of was the olive caponata, but that's my own personal dislike for olives (although my mom, who loves olives, didn't think it paired well with the meal). Speaking of which, both of my Omni parents tried a bite on my meal, and both of them enjoyed it. So much so, in fact, that my mom went home and found a recipe for cauliflower steaks and made them for supper.
