Sophisticated fragrance shop - Edit
Beautiful shop with an array of soy wax melts, soy candles, and other home fragrances.
Read moreOn this visit (Sat 6.7.24) we opted for a ceramic star to hang in the car as a reusable fragrancer. We bought the Rebalance essential oil to add to the ceramic star.
When back at the car much later I added the oil to the star and let it be absorbed, then hung the star over the front rear-view mirror and was immediately happy with the level of fragrance and the actual aroma. And it's reusable. Fantastic.
Pros: all vegan, beautifully wrapped purchases, so ideal as gifts, an array of items

Located in the midst of the quaint Shambles, this shop is a must visit.
Read moreI was impressed by the sheer quantity and quality of the products on offer. When i visited it was on a Christmas shopping trip, so i splurged on a decent amount. The wax melts were particularly impressive as a gift, because you could customise various scents like a bag of pick n’ mix sweets. Other gifts that i selected included the bath bombs and the candle. The rose wax melt was my favourite!
Some of the products were a bit better value for money, like the wax melts, whilst the candles were pretty pricey.

I found this gem while mooching around York on the famous “Harry Potter” street, Shambles.
