Hostel is ok - Edit
My review concerns the hostel only since I didn't eat there. The room was big enough for two people. Our bathroom was modern which we liked. Unfortunately they didn't have any hairdryer. Also they only gave us one big towel per person. We found some smaller towels underneath the bed. There was no soap nor shampoo or shower gel. If we'd known this beforehand we would've brought those items with us. We would've loved to have a tv too. The windows don't have blinds. We felt like the beds could use some new mattresses because they were saggy. All in all the hostel is located in a cute inner yard and very handy because you'll stay in the center of Passau but you should bring essential items with you.

Man kann vor Ort essen in einem süßem Hinterhof oder mitnehmen, aber nur in wiederverwendbaren Behältern (entweder selbst mitnehmen oder gegen Pfand leihen). Richtig gutes Konzept und super leckeres Essen! Ich empfehle die Currywurst mit Pommes. Es gibt täglich wechselnde Tagesgerichte und feste Speisen.

Tolles veganes Restaurant! 🌱 - Edit
Meistens eine Hauptspeise und eine Vorspeise verfügbar. Man kann auch immer einen Mikrosalat oder Falafel bestellen. Die angebotenen Gerichte sind immer sehr abwechslungsreich und lecker. Nur zu empfehlen, hier geh ich immer wieder gerne hin!🤩

I could sit in their garden all day long, it's so cozy!
They don't have a lot of seats so reservations are not required but definitely helpful

We had a pleasant stay with a few things missing - Edit
Both rooms were as described and had a nice and modern bathroom. We missed some few essential items in there like a bigger mirror and a small hand towel. We had a cake there that we can’t really recommend and unfortunately they also didn’t offer coffee. That they offer different dishes every day seems great, although we didn’t try the warm meals.

Lovely hostel - Edit
I can only rate the hostel since, unfortunately, they don't offer breakfast for now. We had a nice stay, the room was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is perfect - in the middle of Passau but in a quiet courtyard. I would definitely stay here again and want to try their vegan dishes.

Liebstes 'Restaurant' - Edit
Die Atmosphäre im Sommer im Innenhof ist traumhaft, aber auch die Gemütlichkeit innen. Jedes Gericht das ich bisher gegessen habe fand ich super lecker auch wenn ich bei manchen voreingenommen war. Ich komme gerne bei jeder Gelegenheit. Ich habe schon einige Freunde überredet die eine fast 'antivegane' - Haltung haben und es hat ihnen allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Cozy gem in the middle of Passau - Edit
It's an entirely vegan restaurant with a changing menu every day! I've never seen the same course twice since moving here three years ago (besides the staple menu they have, including vegan Currywurst, burgers and falafel). The owner puts a lot of love into his dishes and the staff is very friendly. You get the chance to mix and match your seats to find interesting people to talk with, too! My favourite place in all of Passau (possibly Bavaria, too, haha)

Great food, atmosphere and quality for a little nice place in a cozy southern German court style. Food is really good and the owner/cook puts a lot in what he does. We some a tuna-tofu that was very very good!

Nice little gem in the centre of Passau - Edit
We only came across this place by chance (perhaps it needs re-categorising as, currently, it is only listed as B&B). It's a nice little place in a courtyard with a set menu and several "of the day" choices. Delicious meals which were also enjoyed by my non-vegetarian friends.

A Happy Find - Edit
This restaurant is a little gem. Though small, the the food is fresh, cooked to order and the establishment has daily specials. The Vegan sausage was flavorful, cooked in a tomato sauce and the Falafel with hummus and side salads had a unique and rich taste. There were two deserts which were both good, an apple tart and chocolate brownie, not overly sweet and were happily unlike the usually too sweet This was a nice surprise to find a totally Vegan place in such a small town.
