Thumb up! - Edit
Pretty pricey but average for Venice, really tasty food and nice atmosphere, a good place when you want to try Mediterranean cuisine and if you are with non vegetarians/vegans

In the heart of Venice. - Edit
One of the few vegan / vegetarian friendly places in the city of Venice itself. A variety of Mediterranean and middle eastern food choices. Prices are up there, but that’s Venice city for you.

AWESOME! - Edit
This place had a clearly marked vegan options on the menu. We had the vegan shared entree and baklava for desert. The food was delicious and very tasty and filling. The staff were really lovely and the place was nice, especially sitting outside near a canal. Would recommend this place for a good lunch or dinner fix.

Had a Jordanian dish with hummus and almonds and it was very good! We told the server we were vegan and one of us was gluten free and she made us an appetizer dish that was completely vegan/GF ! And it was delicious

Super nice meal - Edit
We shared a small starter and a Jordanian rice dish and it was great tastes all over. And you have to try the Lebanese Blanc de blanc! The sisterhood of service were endearing and honestly caring. Could have been 5 stars

Dated - Edit
Visited here after reading the reviews and we were a little disappointing. The food wasn't the tastiest we have had previously in Venice. I didn't like the hummus too much but my wife did I felt like it needed more lemon and it would be good if the wine was labelled as vegan for the ones which were we managed to find one but others wouldn't be so lucky. Food was standard but the staff were friendly and welcoming. Would pop in if passing but wouldn't go out my way for this place. My wife and I are both vegan and managed to have a okay meal here. The plates were chipped and cracked and the place just felt a little dated.

gorgeous atmosphere, caring staff - Edit
We came here for something other than Italian. We walked in and were warmly welcomed and quickly seated. There's no one else here the staff were highly knowledgeable and walked us through the menu, asking about allergies and diets. They confirmed they could alter dishes for vegetarian/vegan and gf. There's a large range of choices. The light is dim, the candles are red and the food is scrumptious. Definitely go there!

best falafel - Edit
The atmosphere is very nice and the space is cozy. They had the most amazing falafel with really good hummus. We also got the vegetable biryani, which the menu says you have to order before coming to the restaurant, but they happened to have it available when we went. It was delicious!! I also love the area this restaurant is in, it was right by a beautiful church.

Sublime - Edit
A real cosy and intimate place with friendly and knowledgeable staff, just make sure to let them know you're vegan and they will swap dips for extra vegan dips. Food was amazing and sublime and it was a perfect evening!

Nice but be very careful - Edit
We live Lebanese food and this is a good restaurant however be VERY careful when you order your vegan dishes, make sure you tell the staff that you are vegan as we didn’t and even though the dishes we ordered advise on the menu that’s they are vegan they all came out with Kin vegan accompniments which was very disappointing especially for the price. The falafel is superb but toy knot get 3 pieces for 7 Euro, the tabouleh was exceptional But again for 13 Euro thenpoetion should have been a lot bigger. Delicious bread also but disappointed that we could not eat the accompaniments in each dish as all were yoghurt or dairy.

Appetizer was great, main food ok - Edit
The place was cozy and cute. We really enjoyed the appetizer, it was a vegan mixture. But the main dishes we ordered weren't worth the money. We paid 15€ each and I wouldnt even spend half the price. In the end we spent 50€ (2 persons) for food we didnt enjoy.

De-lish Lebanese/Armenian - Edit
Plenty of vegan options, clearly identified on the menu. We had a great eggplant dip starter, a couscous main and another main, as well as a baklava to finish. The couscous main was a little underwhelming and not particularly flavourful, but everything else was fantastic. Note that several dishes, particularly desserts, are listed as vegan but then include the honey icon and mention honey in the ingredients list. The server, who spoke english well and understood very clearly our concern, explained that they do not use honey any more, and instead use another fructose syrup (not sure what type, but plant-based). We're so glad she pointed this out, as the Baklava was phenomenal, including a date jam on the side. Yes, it's on the pricey side, but it's a very nice "dining" experience with great ambiance along a relatively quiet canal, and not just a place to grab a meal and run.

Cozy, Delicious Bohemian Food in Venice - Edit
This place is quite a bohemian little find in the touristy heart of Venice. Each menu item that is vegetarian or vegan (or GF) is clearly marked in Italian, English, and French. I ordered the hummus as a starter and biriani (veggies and rice with tomato sauce) as an entreé. The hummus came with delicious hot pita breads, and the biriani was fresh and tasty also. I ordered the cinnamon ice cream (vegan) for dessert, and it had some ginger slices on top. Unfortunately, was too spicy for me, detracting from the enjoyable part of dessert. Overall, a pretty good spot and one I'm thankful to have in a city that isn't particularly accommodating to vegans.

Great but expensive - Edit
The food was actually incredible, I've had a lot of good Middle Eastern food in Sydney and this rivalled anything I'd had before. I had a mixed vegan entree plate (don't be fooled- with the bread it's more than enough for a big meal!). There was an impressive variety of foods on this plate.
Read moreThe only downside aas the cost - with the cover charge, from memory this lunch was €14.50-€15.50, which to me as a student is quite considerable. The cost alone made me wary about returning.
Pros: Amazing food, Something that's not pizza or pasta every day
Cons: Expensive
