Great for a quick, casual meal - Edit
We really enjoyed our first visit to Franks-a-Lot. Great to know there is a relatively inexpensive, casual dining option in this area with vegan options! I had a tofu dog and a root beer. It was hot, delicious, and hit the spot. I thought the staff was cool too. I did not try anything from the fryer as they warned about dairy cross contamination and I have a dairy allergy, just fyi - but I appreciated their heads up! None of the dessert options appeared vegan friendly either but I was so full I didn’t have room for one anyway 🤣

Big vegan dogs options with lots of toppings - Edit
This place looks pretty straight forward until you see just how many options you have if you remix. I believe they have vegan hotdogs, kielbasa, Italian, and Bratwurst as base protein options. If I remember right, there is a vegetarian chili dog option. I meant to ask if the chili itself is vegan or not. The portions are huge and the price point is pretty good

Good vegan hot dogs - Edit
I eat here relatively frequently since it’s on the way to my gym, and their vegan options are all pretty good. I especially like the field roast Italian sausage Chicago-style.

Have more sides - beside fries- that were vegan.

The vegan dogs are bland, but the fries are good and they do serve a good amount for the price. Supposedly, they close at 7 PM. However, the past times I've stopped by at 6:40 PM they either have no vegan dogs left or they are cleaning the fryer. They do not accommodate vegans.

Quick, cheap and fast - Edit
Good tofu hot dog. They can make it a gluten free corn dog too, but dairy in the corndog batter. Tables outside and a drive thru window.
