Amazing flavors

They have two locations: Capitol Hill and Ballard.

Amazing flavors like Salty Caramel Ash and Beet Strawberry Rose.. how about Kale Lime Leaf?

Really!

And there is a line out the door and down the block. It is THAT good,

Pros: Inventive flavors, Tasty

Amazing Ice Cream

I visited the capital hill store yesterday afternoon & ordered two scoops of the Tahini Chocolate on a cone.

It was amazing & can't wait to go back for more. Most so called vegan ice creams are either too bland or just don't taste that great.

This ice cream is amazing.

Pros: Excellent ice cream, good value

Cons: Rude customers, they will cut in front of you., Space is small & tight

Really amazing ice cream

Boyfriend and I decided to stop by while in Capitol Hill! Best decision ever. Line moves pretty slowly (and got to be pretty long almost immediately after we got there), but that ended up being because of how friendly + sample happy the staff is.

Ice cream itself is AMAZING. I had the "Harvey Strawberry Milk" and boyfriend had the Salty Caramel Ash. Both were excellent. Mine was definitely the best strawberry ice cream I've EVER had, vegan or not, and overall their stuff is in at least the top three of ice creams I've ever had. Totally worth the price.

Pros: Truly delicious, Unique flavors, Waffle cones!!

Cons: Pricey, Long waits

This place is great. Went here during a trip to Seattle. Thank god the guy hosting me told me about this place. I got a double scoop in a waffle cone: chaga chocolate and vanilla. YUM. The line was out the door but went pretty quickly.

Pros: Creative flavors, Open late

Cons: Not a lot of seating

Expensive? Yes. Amazing? YAS!

I have had very limited choices eating store bought and ice cream out since I cut our cane sugar... They have two date sweetened ice creams on the menu! Items that contain cane sugar are marked. Waffle cones contain brown sugar. The mini 4oz was perfect.

Favorite Ice Cream Shop

Sure there lines are long year round and it's pricey, but Frankie and Jo's is worth it. The flavors are sophisticated and creative. My favorites are California Cabin (a cardamom-black pepper mix), persimmon, and tahini chocolate. You should try everything! The shop is adorable. And they're accommodating to various diets and allergies. This place is good. Come here.

Pros: Creative Flavors, Gluten-Free

Cons: Limited Seating

plant based magic

Chocolate mint brownie is my favorite every day flavor but their seasonal flavors are amazing, too! Expensive but worth it.

Waffle Cones!!!

I wasn’t a fan of the ash flavor but really liked a seasonal one with persimmons. Texture is amazing and you can get a waffle cone!!

The best icecream.

This ice-cream will turn non-vegans/non-plant-based people. They have a monthly rotational seasonal flavors that are AMAZING.

The taste is just right in terms of sweetness and the flavors really pop. I highly recommend that this (and Sugar Plum) be the first choice for dessert for any vegan in Capitol Hill.

It's a bit pricey and it's a bit small in venue (parking can be difficult)—but so are all places on Cap Hill now...

Pros: Flavors/Texture, Sweetness, Service/Ambience

Cons: Pricey

must try!

We gave up dessert at dinner just to be able to have room for this place and wow were we happy we did! The place is small and cute, the service was great, you could try the flavours, the menu was enticing and the ice cream delivered what it always promises; creamy, smooth and flavourful. We will be back next time we visit Seattle for sure!! I got the salted caramel ash and the Seattle Fog. My husband got mint chocolate brownie. All were exceptional!

really enjoyable but a bit weird

There was a bit of woo in this place in some of the descriptions regarding stuff being sprouted and whatnot and they also tried really hard to have unusual flavours. That said the vegan ice-cream was really good. They make their waffle cones fresh and also have sauce.

Best vegan icecream ever

It is a bit pricey, but definitely worth every last cent. The waffle is thick and crunchy, the icecream is simply outstanding. I tried the gingered golden milk and the chocolate date, they were both BOMB!

divine amazing indulgent treat

I had the strawberry milk ice cream, which was absolutely amazing! I used to love Breyers strawberry ice cream years ago before I went vegan, and I've never found anything comparable, until Frankie and Jo's. I got the waffle cone because everybody had raved about it, and indeed it was very good, but it was pretty heavy and , next time, I don't need it. The ice cream was more than enough!

yes please and thank you!

Great flavors, friendly staff that encourages you to try the flavors before deciding. I had the salty Carmel ash one night and the California cabin another but I tasted like five I don't think you can go wrong.

And the waffle cone, oh my god that waffle cone.

Great Ice Cream

We went here two days in a row, and both times the line was snaking out the door. Great design and artwork. Unique flavors. Delicious ice cream. Friendly staff. Between the two nights, we tried almost everything on the menu. The seasonal Harvey Strawberry Milk was amazing, as were the waffle cones, and and basically everything else. Don't miss it.

Pros: Delicious, Beautiful

Amazing vegan ice cream!

The salty caramel ash ice cream was probably the best vegan ice cream I've ever had. Rich and creamy.

There were many other interesting flavours available too. And they make their own (gluten free) waffle cones :)

Magic in a Waffle Cone!

Delicious plant-based (coconut-cashew) blends of ice cream in inventive flavors. Try the gothy Salted Caramel Ash or be your best bodhisattva with the Gingered Golden Milk. You can try one of their specialty sundaes with coconut whip or take home a pint for $12 with a jar of "Moon Goo" Activated Charcoal Caramel sauce for $15 to enjoy at home.

Just across from Sizzle Pie. It's a bit of #vegantopia on Capitol Hill.

Pros: Seasonal flavors & sundaes, Location across from Sizzle Pie
