Only one non-sorbet vegan flavor, costs €4 for the smallest size and was told that even the non-vegan flavors aren’t great. Shame because I was excited to see what they offered!

I was expecting maybe one or two vegan options, but there’s absolutely loads. All clearly labelled vegan, which is super reassuring. There’s even a vegan cone. The ice creams are incredible, will probably swing by today again to try a couple more flavours!

Quite a few options many of which are not on display to do ask or look at sign on the wall. I just had one scoop of the coffee chocolate although it seemed more like a toffee flavour to me was nice. Near to a place that does vegan pizza slices to handy area to go for an pizza and ice cream stop.

Lots of (hidden) vegan options! - Edit
People usually see only the sorbet flavors but there are actually many more vegan options. Make sure to check the "Vegan OK" sign or just ask the staff. I had hazelnut and vanilla and I'm looking forward to trying the other ones as well.
Read moreIn my case the guy behind the counter just took the cone and disappeared for 2 minutes, then brought back a huge ice cream that tasted amazing. The texture of the hazelnut flavor was a bit too thick though, so I had no choice but to bite into it.
The bad side is that it's too expensive and you have to pay extra 70 cents for a vegan cone, which seems weird to me.

So I've been vegan 17 years and ice cream is my joint. I found this place on google, Right in the center of Lisbon. 5 creamy flavors of ice cream and more sorbets. you ave to ask for the vegan Ice ceam cos it's a normal place. The lady who managed it was super wnderful and friendly explaining the high demand for more flavors. I suggest Pistachio. and the Choc was a strong 2nd place.

I had the best vegan pistachio ice cream here, not too sweet, very creamy, with a definite pistachio flavor! The coffee ice cream (my other choice) was not at all good. Lots of vegan flavors was "at the back" so we couldn't look at them before ordering, the assistant disappeared with our cones and got back with the ice-cream in a few minutes. I would have preferred if I can look at what I choose, I wouldn't have ordered coffee if I had seen the color and texture of it for example.

Fantastic vegan ice-cream served here ( woohoo - no sorbet!!!) Pineapple and ginger is beautiful as well as cinnamon and doce-de-leite (sweet milk). I went back 4 times to this place to get my fill after dinner.

Delicious creamy vegan ice cream - Edit
I wouldn't call the fruity vegan options sorbet because they are super creamy, therefore they are more like ice cream than sorbet. And they are amazing! We tried the lime/basil, mango, strawberry, and orange on vegan waffle cones. The cones weren't great, but the ice cream was wonderful! The staff are friendly and speak English.

Lovely little gelaterie, all the fruit sorbets in the main counter are labeled vegan, but they also have about 10 different vegan icecreams in the back. I tried the chocolate, hazelnut, caramel and vanilla as well as a strawberry sorbet, the chocolate and hazelnut were both amazing. They have vegan cones or you can have it in a tub, I also noticed on a sign that htey now have vegan crepes, although I didn't try one. Bit expensive but not too bad for a treat whilst on holiday.

From here I already tried it the cantaloupe ice cream, grapefruit, vanilla and caramel (which is one of the bests). I know that around the corner they have a chocolate festival thing so be aware. It's worth the price and the quality!

Vegan ice creams very clearly marked, they even have vegan cones (for a supplement though). I had the vegan daily special - mint+ caramel. The mint was very hard to tell that it wasn't dairy, the caramel was nice as well. Staff spoke English and French

Vegan Ice Cream - Edit
We dropped into Fragoletto a couple of times in Lisbon - the shop has a counter facing the street with a cabinet of different ice creams and sorbets in it. All of these are clearly marked with different symbols showing whether they are Lactose Free, Gluten Free, or Vegan. Both times that we went there were around 6 different vegan options - all of which were fruit based flavours. Ordering was quick and easy, and all of the flavours we tried were tasty and it was great to have clearly marked options (our Portuguese is not strong enough to have a vegan conversation!) When we returned a second time a couple of days later there were some new flavours available so there is clearly some thought going into this shop rather than a typical city centre tourist trap.
