Have received real cheese on vegan pizza and then had a front of house manager insist it is vegan. I feel it is important to note I am not vegan and my wife is. I however eat vegan most of the time. I am well aware of the taste, texture & appearance of vegan cheese.
These were two separate times that this had happened. When I reached out to the owner privately they never responded to me nor apologized and just scaled back on the vegan menu shortly after.
Pros: Vegan options, On and off management looking to expand options , Friendly mom and pop feel
Cons: Kitchen staff puts dairy cheese on “vegan” items, Gets orders incorrect and insists otherwise, Long waits

Great vegan pizza! - Edit
This app will not allow me to give 5 stars since it’s not a fully vegan restaurant, but if I could l, I would give 5! This is one of the only restaurants in the area that offers a vegan pizza. They need to add the vegan options to their menu so more people know about them! I ordered a pizza with vegan cheese and vegan pepperoni pizza with veggies.

Vegan mayo, cheese, bacon, sausage were all yummy
They have pasta options as well. Husband's favorite is their mac and cheese.

A bit confusing - Edit
Inexpensive pizza with a vegan sausage option. No vegan cheese available. Also has a vegetarian burger option that you create your own (might be an impossible or beyond burger but I’m not completely sure). Has a mix up and the restaurant forgot the sausage, but the gluten free crust was still excellent and the sauce was very good.

A little hidden gem, who would have thought you could find a vegan sausage and cheese pizza for takeout...in McHenry County?!? And it’s delicious to boot!! Thank you for providing vegan options in a meat and cheese town, you made a few huge fans tonight!
