A popular dine in and take away place. - Edit
They had a English menu and the staff spoke passable English, and so communicating with them was easy. The food portions were sumptuous. They have both dine in and take away options.

Great place with lots of options - Edit
We had the spicy dumpling soup, which was quite spicy, but not too hot.

No-one speaks English, but they have an English menu. Two of us ate for NTD800.
It is fascinating to watch - and gets pretty busy with - people filling baskets for their personalised meals.
Pros: Quick, cheap and delicious, A wide variety of food - all vego

Nice Taiwanese food! - Edit
Pretty good food with lots of options! Similar to other places I've seen in Taiwan. Tried the wonton noodles soup (it was good with some extra spices but it only came with 3 wontons!) and my partner had the sesame noodles!

Cheap and so good! - Edit
Amazing place to eat vegan cheap food! The portions are huge, for example the tarot congee only costs 30$ and we weren't hungry anymore. Wontons, dumplings and buns are so good!!

Simple, good restaurant - Edit
We ate here yesterday. There was nobody who could speak English, but there was a menu in English (that apparently has been done recently) that helped us make our order. We ordered two noodle soups and a portion of dumplings and paid NT$ 150, a quite fair price. The food is OK, not super delicious but definitely good. The staff was friendly and they served our food pretty quickly.

everything is yummy - Edit
we were lucky there was a student who spoke english, otherwise we would just point at something on the menu; staff does not speak english, but they ask every customer if they are vegan. we wanted some rice with different veggies and tofu/ mock meat. it was awesome and oh all the flavors and the variety! I highly recommend it!

Lots of options, cheap and filling - Edit
Items on the menu aren’t all available, but they do have a lot of options and the portions are filling. Not the tastiest and best cooked meal I’ve ever had - I got the curry rice and it was a bit cold for my liking. The ladies working there aren’t friendly and you need to point and blurt out something or else they will ignore you even if you’re standing in front of them for a while. They will just serve every other customer that walks in after you and says an order.

Great soup, lots of choice - Edit
They don't really speak English here, but with a bit of help we were able to order some delicious noodle soup with out choice of braised veg, which you pick out yourself a la veggie creek. Really delicious! They assured us everything was vegan but usual Taiwan mock meat raised eyebrow should probably apply

Nice and cheap - Edit
I came here because the girl of the dove tail told me it was cheap and close, after going there i was really happy.
Read moreI had to communicate with my translator so they understood vegetarian, vegan, etc, and then show me pictures of the plates i could eat.
Because of the lenguage barrier i ended up ordering a soup (amazing, a lot of different flavours), and some stir fried lots of of tofu and vegetable (kind of plain, but you can use some of the great sauces they have to make it better) The portions were huge, and both dishes were only TND 200.
Pros: Cheap, Taiwanese food, Mostly vegan
Cons: No english
