Healthy budget lunch - Edit
Cute place, busy during lunchtime so you might have to wait for a little bit but that's totally fine. Got a lot of food and everything was very tasty, had an amazing pumpkin soup and a plate with all kind of different dishes, soy milk and a small cake for only $3.75. Will definitely come back!

Budget lunch - Edit
Aww, this place, atmosphere-wise, reminds me of Buddhist vegetarian food in Taiwan. I had a set menu (daily special) and it was very tasty, and when I went to pay for my meal, it was $3.75 USD. Seriously? Look at the photo and you be the judge. It’s so, so cheap!

Good lunch menu - Edit
Taiwanese-Peruvian fusion kitchen. Lunch menu (soup, main, drink, small desert) for $3.75. The soup and main are set, you have a choice of rice or pasta as side, and juice, tea or soy milk as a drink. Very busy at lunch time, you have to wait a few minutes till they get to you, but the waiter was kind and not rushed. Taste was good. I just wish I chose to have the sweetened soy milk, the unsweetened was terribly plain. :D

Cheap set lunch - Edit
Had a cheap set lunch here which included a tasty Asian soup, a main plate with rice and a few vegetable/mock meat stir-frys, and a drink (fruit or soy milk) all for $3.50. Not mind-blowing but pretty good and very affordable.

One of many similar - Edit
A small chinese, corean or tawanise (only God knows) restaurant with a set of lunch menu for 3.75 (soup, main of 4 options, tea or soya milk or juice and several options of dessert).
Read moreI did not like the taste of the most options. Other similar restaurants in Quito do better. Many vegan options.
Pros: Not expensive, Vegan options

Great plant based food with Asian touch - Edit
Lunch menu for 3.75 USD (main, soup, drink, dessert). For the main one was able to select from various options (buffet style). Also for dessert and the drink one had several choices. All food had a slight Asian touch. Very tasty!

Formosa - Edit
Vegetarian and vegan options, the waitresses were very friendly. My friend and I ordered a la carte dishes, more expensive ($6) than the regular combos for lunch ($3.75), the taste was not so good, however the lunch consisting of soup, entree, dessert and juice looked more appetizing Pretty crowded place.

Formosa, Quito - Edit
I had lunch here on Saturday. Its very inexpensive offering a range of what they call combos. I had soup, main and juice all for $3, an utter bargain. No issues getting anything vegan friendly.
Read moreAs well as Chinese food they offer some non Chinese stuff.
Location is in Mariscal. The door is on Carrion and the restaurant is up a flight of stairs to the 1st floor.
It was busy.
Pros: Vegan friendly, inexpensive
