The food tasted pretty good, yet the charges were indeed much higher than expected. For example, a plate of fried tofu costs $25 when the market price for a box of tofu is only $4. Another example: a serving of stir-fried bok choy costs $15 while the market price is no more than $1. In an era of high interest rates, such overcharging restaurants will not last long. The fact that only half of the tables there were occupied last Saturday can be seen as proof of the failure of the restaurant's marketing strategy.
