Cute friendly cafe - Edit
Lovely friendly service and plenty of options when asking the waitress about vegan options! Would be good to have it on the menu but I didn’t feel like a bother asking for options as the staff were so lovely ! I had a breakfast bagel with avocado, pickle, vegan link sausage and vegan bacon

Gorgeous vegan options - Edit
I had a vegan chicken and cheese panini with cheesy chips and I can’t tell you how happy I was! It’s been years since I had vegan cheesy chips and they were delicious. The panini was just as lovely, I opted for it plain but they did offer to add sauce/vegan mayo.
Read moreThe vegan options aren’t clear as it’s a one-liner on the menu, which tells you they can do most of their dishes veganised - and if that’s not a way to make a vegan nervous, I don’t know what is!
They were so welcoming, the staff knew all of the options they did have available (as promised!) and they’re also a dog friendly establishment which is a bonus in Falkirk. Unfortunately they were so busy on the day we visited that we didn’t have the opportunity to sit-in but I will absolutely be returning. Take-away was great.
Pros: Knowledgeable staff, Lots of options, Dog friendly too
Cons: A menu might encourage more people to try it out

Liked coming here for coffee and cake. Maybe just a bad day for the staff who weren’t particularly friendly. No vegan cakes or biscuits.

Quality afternoon tea - Edit
I ordered an afternoon tea from the Fork and Mustard for a birthday and was not disappointed. Delicious cakes and sandwiches with lots of options to choose from. It amazed many Omni family members who could not believe they were vegan!

A great wee spot! - Edit
We had homemade fake chicken burgers and they were really good, as well as one of the many vegan cakes and biscuits available. Would definitely come back when we are in the area again.

Cozy and Welcoming atmosphere - Edit
Our first stop after taking off from Edinburgh Airport, we were greeted warmly and the menu seemed delicious. My husband's first Scottish Breakfast and one of the better ones, even if my own Philly Cheesesteak was a bit on the dry side - regardless it was a good place for a pit stop and I would go there again if I returned to Falkirk.

The best vegan cooked breakfast in Scotland! - Edit
Fork and Mustard make the best vegan food around! Louise and Ed are always happy and welcoming, more than happy to accommodate changes to the menu, and the food is amazing - almost all of the vegan mock meats have been home made. The big vegan cooked breakfast has: bacon, sausage, square sausage, scrambled egg, haggis and black pudding (all vegan!), not to mention beans, tattie scones, tomato and mushrooms (photo has these last 2 replaced with hashbrowns and vegan clootie dumpling). Coffee is great and they have a range of cakes and sweet treats (75% are vegan, ask and they will give you the run down). Portion sizes are massive and prices are very competitive. Pro tip: free tea and black coffee refills when you eat in and Veterans get a discount.

We arrived and asked for the vegan menu and got told there wasn’t one because they can veganise everything except the eggs bennedict! The majority of the cakes were vegan not marked as vegan so lots of unsuspecting omnis happily eating vegan cake 😂!!

Vegan options galore - Edit
For a non-vegan place this cafe had a hugely unexpected number of vegan choices. They will happily make pretty much any menu item vegan. The vegan big breakfast I ordered was huge and I especially enjoyed the vegan haggis. Staff exceptionally friendly too. Recommend.

Breakfast to shout about - Edit
I've been here twice for vegan large breakfast as they are so good! It is a lot of eating but the scrambled eggs, bacon, haggis, etc with toast. They also have a good selection of cakes which I take away as already full. I've had chocolate cake, scone & a chocolate orange tart. I also want to go back to try their chilli or jackfruit pulled pork or mac n cheese. Many options in this cafe.

Deserves 5 stars - Edit
This is a busy cafe with lots of different vegan options. We had vegan breakfast (includes Scottish clootie dumpling) and vegan Mac n cheese. Very tasty and lots of it. And then bought 3 different cakes/cookies to take home for a little treat later. Highly recommended. Why not 5 stars? Because happycow only lets you give 5 stars for fully vegan/vegetarian restaurants.

Simply Fantastic - Edit
On walking in the door, the staff were extremely friendly, and were very willing to talk to me about the menu, all the vegan options and specials (if you're not sure - speak to the staff! As it turns out a lot of the vegan stuff isn't listed on the main menu).
Read moreI ordered the Peanut & Avocado burger and it was amazing! Very good portion side, with the burger, some onion rings, a salad and coleslaw, all for £5.75 plus, free refills on the coffee if you order food! I also got a vegan caramel biscuit, which was very tasty - reminded me a little of shortbread and tablet.
I haven't been this pleasantly surprised in a while, there isn't many places to get a full vegan meal in Falkirk, let alone somewhere with food this tasty! I'll definitely be making a habit of coming here.
Pros: Many, Many Vegan Choices, Tasty Food and Big Portions, Very Friendly & Accommodating Staff
