Vegan Afternoon Tea - Edit
We booked for vegan afternoon tea for 6 people at Forge Cottage Team Room.
Read moreThe menu was well thought out and had lots of variety. Everything was presented really well. They had a very good range of teas, with refills included, or coffee.
The scones were amazing (served with home made strawberry jam and two types of plant cream), with lots of other cake and sweet options. The lentil, carrot and cashew soup to start was so tasty. There were lots of sandwich varieties as well as a veg tartlet and vegan caviar on crackers, for the savoury food.
The decor at Forge Cottage is quirky and colourful and feels very welcoming. The staff were so friendly and genuinely interested in veganism and ways to improve their vegan options.
It was a very personal service and we felt they were happy to have been able to provide our vegan afternoon tea.
Cost was £25 per person (they only accept cash).
