Amazing bagel sandwich - Edit
You gotta get the vegan bagel sandwich with cream cheese. So nice to have protein and vegan cream cheese. Their vegan egg is house made and SO good, better than Just egg. They wood fire their bagels in house. Also great coffee, gets pretty busy on the weekends and closes somewhat early so be prepared for that.

Pretty Good bagels I shoulda gotten the sandwich - Edit
Panicked and got a bagel w vegan cheeze last minute, big regrets after seeing pics of the sammy on here. Was nervous once I learned it was cashew based cause sometimes those are weirdly sweet but this one was p well seasoned. Iced latte w oat milk kinda just tasted like an iced coffee tbh

Cannot recommend it enough. The tofu, veggie bacon, sauce, and bagel were all perfect. They also offer vegan cream cheese.

excellent bagel - Edit
The sandwich was great — got it on the garlic bagel. Housemade vegan cream cheese, housemade seitan, housemade vegan egg. Good stuff. I also got the soy chai, which was pretty good and sweet, but not too sweet. They had a chocolate orange cake as well for the pastry lovers amongst us, which looked nice but I did not try.

One glorious sandwich - Edit
Came here extremely hungover and was revived by the vegan breakfast sandwich and lemon espresso tonic. Fabulous homemade sauce, Vegg, Vacon, and of course, bagels. Only gripe is that non dairy milks are $1 extra for coffees! I don’t understand a business being seemingly so veg-friendly but charging so much extra. Either way, fabulous.

Meh just okay - Edit
Based on other reviewers, I thought I would love the vegan breakfast sandwich, but honestly it really wasn’t my thing. The bagel was a bit tough and it fell apart.
Read moreThe vegan chocolate orange was very good though. Very expensive overall. I don’t think I would come back here.
Pros: Great vegan cake
Cons: Expensive, Tough bagels

Sunday’s are for Vegan breakfast sandwiches - Edit
Most Sunday’s we find ourselves getting the vegan breakfast bagel sandwich from Forage Market. The chickpea egg and plant based bacon are delicious. The aioli, greens and tomato round out the sandwich.

pretty good sandwich, very good bagel - Edit
OKay strap in folks, per usual I traversed this establishment with the help of my lovely mother (Dairy and soy allergies, like bad bad allergies), my father (can't tell the difference between really bad chicken and vegan chicken) and myself (picky vegan with a peanut allergy, craving for chocolate, and fear of God.)
Read moreI visited Bates College and then needed food desperately, leading me to here as my only option to turn to. I got the vegan bagel sandwich, my mom got a bagel sandwich with just egg and greens (to clarify not the brand Just Egg literally a normal like chicken egg man), and my father got the squealer without cheese.
My mother enjoyed her's thoroughly and will never be going back from sourdough bagels. like guys she really really liked this sandwich. I also enjoyed my bagel but order it with avocado if you come here. It would improve the bagel 100 percent. The fakin' was not my favourite but it was still a very solid meal. But let me tell you the bagel itself, so so good. I had the everything and it was just a great bagel. A little tough to chew, but folks it's a bagel what do you expect. My dad rates it a solid 'fine.'
We also got the chocolate orange cake which was a nice dessert, the chocolate was not my favourite, but still very nice flavour.
Overall I would recommend as a solid vegan option, but would not go out of my way for anything BUT the bagels themselves.
Parents coffee review
- Coffee was really good, possibly better than the bagel.

Disappointing&expensive! - Edit
Got the vegan breakfast sandwich that the reviews mentioned.
Read moreThey forgot the fakin bacon on it.
Didnt bother going back in because the order girl was very crabby and seemed annoyed.
Even with the fakin bacon i doubt it would've helped the sandwich...Ive had way better for less money.
Won't be coming back.
Pros: Nada
Cons: Expensive, bad service, bad value.

New favorite vegan breakfast sandwich in town - Edit
I loved my vegan breakfast sandwich with tempeh bacon. The portion was awesome and it kept me full for so long. The homemade bread was delicious. They had run out of bagels so I didn’t get to try it on a bagel. My husband had the vegan panini and he really liked it but I thought it was a bit too greasy for me. I’ll be back again for that breakfast sandwich! And the building is super cute. I didn’t see any offering for vegan cream cheese but if we ask enough maybe they will start carrying it!

Vegan breakfast sandwich - Edit
Worth going out of your way for! Also I’m told it has good options for gluten free folks (though I’m not and therefore did not confirm if the GF bread was vegan).
