Great and unique food - Edit
We shared the nachos which were great and plenty for 3 of us. We shared a bbq chicken sandwich which was fabulous as were the tacos. Being too stuffed for a really nice looking cheesecake, we took that with us and will report on it later!

My favorite restaurant in Ohio and Pennsylvania - Edit
I love this place. The food is phenomenal and the staff are wonderful. The Seoul tacos are my favorite. They're a perfect blend of Korean chili, kimchi, and tofu. Really phenomenal. I've had just about everything on the menu now and it want more of it!

Cozy atmosphere and good food selection - Edit
I’ve been to this several times now, and every time i go i bring new people. they always love it, and the restaurant is one of my favorite in cleveland. the food is really flavorful and the menu is pretty versatile. some items can get a bit pricey but it’s totally worth it. my favorite item on the menu are the cauliflower bites and i usually always love the weekly specials. The desserts are very good, but a small portion for a pretty high price. would definitely recommend for anyone in the area!

SO GOOD!! - Edit
I went for the first time with 3 of my non-vegan friends and they loved it too! I had the “korean bbq” platter which had really flavorful seitan, tofu and pickled korean veggies served with rice. My friends had the chikin sandwich and Bangkok tacos, korean tacos. Really yummy vegan food, their menu changes too. I will definitely be back!

Incredible food - Edit
It’s really SO good. If you like spicy, the K town platter is amazing. But everything on the menu is delicious. This is the place to take non vegans you are trying to convert. Oh, and the lemon meringue tarts, omg!

Highly recommend. Food was so fresh and tasted amazing. Very flavor. Everyone who waited on us was friendly and provided great service. We arrived during a busy time but it was so worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back.

Great addition to the CLE vegan scene - Edit
Fantastic menu that includes rotating specials for entrees and desserts. Definitely up there with the best NE Ohio has to offer for vegans. As I understand it almost everything is made in house which is apparent by the high quality.

Great neighborhood comfort food - Edit
Please come out and support this wonderful place! Finally we have a vegan restaurant on the East side! Just opened in June 2019. Very cozy interior and very attentive service. We tried the cauliflower tempura tacos, the “steak” and cheez sandwich, the roasted veggie and tofu salad, and the turnip cake appetizer and they were all yummy. Our favs were the salad and turnip cakes. They have a special entree and dessert every week and we sampled the dessert which were delicious grilled mochi cakes (made us feel we were in Japan!). Make sure to check their hours because as of this writing, they’re only open on weekends. We will definitely be coming back for more!

Awesome Food - Edit
Everything I tried was delicious, I wish I had a bigger stomach or I would have gotten more. We ended up getting the special house made cheese platter (the havarti was my personal favorite), fried cauliflower bites with sweet thai chili sauce, and I got the chick’n Katsu Sando, it was crispy and delicious, while my friend got the nachos. Also, the iced Thai tea is fantastic!

All vegan menu - comfort food with Asian touches - Edit
Foodhisattva, as of this summer review, is about two months new as a brick-and-mortar establishment, but they have so much previous experience through their pop-up events. On this first visit to their restaurant, we enjoyed crusted cauliflower soft tacos and a chicken-style, panko breaded sandwich with excellent sauce toppings. Dessert was also excellent, thanks to a creamy-filled cake concoction and homemade ice cream with basil accents. Excellent service.

Wow - Edit
This is the best Vegan in town. I had the tacos and a wonderful salad. I split it with my wife and we were both full. I loved the experience. Servers were the best and Josh came out and "touched" our table. What a great guy and a great cook. His wife is even better that he :). I highly recommend this restaurant.

Cleveland's best vegan restaurant - period! - Edit
If you are in the metro Cleveland area you must visit Foodhisattva! A quaint, very clean, nice restaurant that has fantastic service and amazing food! I can truly say that even though I'm vegan I'm not a fan of cauliflower prepared in any way. But their curry cauliflower bites converted me. And their chick-n sandwich, with the combination of sauces, crunchy crust yet juicy interior, is a 5 star delight! My wife and I are from Columbus but rest assured whenever we are in Cleveland Foodhisattva will be one of our first stops!

Best Restaurant in Cleveland! - Edit
This tiny restaurant is a true gem! They have a variety of menu items inspired by Japanese and Korean foods, but all with unique twists and all 100% vegan. I ordered the "Chick'n Katsu Sando" (Sando being the katakana pronunciation for 'sandwich') and it was not only delicious in its own right, but having lived in Japan myself, I can attest to the chef's expertise in preparing the authentic taste of 'katsu,' including the sauce! The Shiso lemonade was also refreshing without being overly sweet, and I highly recommend it. The owner of the restaurant even came up and spoke to me while I was there, and he was a super cool guy. I will definitely be back!

Best Vegan Food in Cleveland Hands Down - Edit
I am so happy to have a restaurant like Foodhisattva near me! I am working my way through the menu and I love everything. The first thing I tried was the Bangkok Tacos *chef's kiss* This restaurant is proof that vegan food does NOT have to be bland and tasteless, unseasoned and sad--Foodhisativa's menu is flavorful, well-seasoned, and satisfying. It fills you up in the best way (no food coma!). The desserts have been an adventure in taste--I had tamarind vegan ice cream w/ vegan carrot cake and my taste buds danced. Literally danced. I'm looking forward to extended hours and more delicious menu items. I am a fan.

All the Best! - Edit
Familiar comfort food with Asian fusion ingredients to take the offerings to the next level, such as handmade wasabi potato pierogi served with house tonkatsu sauce, strawberry nice cream blended with shiso (a plant in the mint family), curried cauliflower bites, Chick'n Katsu Sando panko-crusted vegan chick'n cutlet with house tonkatsu sauce, and shiitake turnip cakes, an item a member of the Cleveland Chinese Music Ensemble says he can't find outside of New York. Rotating menu items include fan favorites such as the loaded Supreme Master Nachos, Bulgogi Cheez Steak, and Bangkok tacos. They also do specials, so don't forget to see what additions and desserts are available and follow their Facebook and Instagram pages. To top off the delicious food, the owners have always been community-minded, supporting other local small businesses and compassionate charities. Eating out doesn't get any better than this!

Ridiculously delicious food! - Edit
The food here is amazing. I have been to their pop ups in the past and was very excited for the new restaurant. The chik’n sandwich had a very great sauce that elevated it above the typical sandwich. I’ll update this review after I’ve been there more because I plan to go often!
