Great!

Great place to come as a vegan/vegetarian. Seperate part of the menu dedicated to the vege meals. Had the grilled vege plate and it was lovely, so varied and tasty. £7.70 not bad price either

Meh

I had a veggie burger that came with chips and a small salad (basically lettuce and cabbage). With a drink it cost a total of €10, which is too much I think. I would describe the burger as "aggressively mediocre" (shout-out to Kaya).

Great!

The best place in Mostar if you want vegan options. The food is amazing, the stuff is friendly and always willing to adapt the recipes to be vegan.

Awesome place

We went there for dinner and were very happy with our decision. I originally thought about ordering the vegan burger, but then went for the “Imam Bayildi” instead, and found it spectacular. Their fried potatoes and ajvar were also equally delicious.

Pros: A few great vegan options, Delicious food, Friendly staff with great English

Big Bosnian Breakfast

Great Bosnian coffee and the veganized breakfast is legit awesome and big enough for two.

Pros: Great Bosnian coffee, Good location

Cons: Service is on the slow and surly side

Okay not great

The food was good but the salad came without vinaigrette (in contrast to the description in the menu) and the portions were not really big. Seemed a bit overpriced but it also is in a very touristy place. The staff was very matter to fact and not extra friendly.

Pros: Good food

Cons: Small portions, Overpriced

Honestly, for vegans, there are few “great” options in Mostar, we found this to be one of the very best available ones…

Deliciosa alternativa

Awesome!

The food was really good. In fact, so good that we ate there three nights in a row (also due to lack of vegetarian/vegan options in Mostar). We tried a lot of dishes and especially liked the Imam Bayildi and Grilled Vegetable Plate. Definitely recommend.

Really filling traditional food

Separate vegan section on the menu.
Really helpful staff that are willing to advise on changing dishes to make them vegan also.
We had the imam bayildi vegan and the sataras
Both were similar in style but both were tasty and filling.
Could maybe have done with some more salt and pepper but that is personal taste.

Pros: Easily visible vegan section, Helpful staff , Air con seating inside.

Food House

Restaurant located next to the Hamam Museum. Limited vegan options but great to have somewhere in a town of very sparse vegan options. I had the falafel wrap, ask for it to be made vegan, very good with crispy and fluffy falafels packed with flavour. The chips were pretty greasy, tasted like they’d been fried in either old oil or with non vegan food. The houmous dip was delicious, very garlicky which is how I personally like it. Good value prices. Menu available in English and has Wi-Fi. Cards accepted.

Best food we had on our whole vacation

We stopped in Mostar for a daytrip to Mostar from Croatia and were blown away by the food. Authentic Bosnian/Herzegovinan food made vegan which was exactly what we were looking for.
The portions were huge and well priced, and the service was fantastic, staff were very friendly and helpful. Will visit again when we return to Mostar!!

Pros: Cheap and large portions , Close to the old bridge

Cons: Nothing!!

Best Food so far

Huge portions! And cheap compared to other vegan restaurants
Even my travel buddy said it is the best food he had since he has been here in the Balkans.

Good range of veg + vegan options

Quite a few veg vegan options including falafel wrap and salad, veggie plate, veggie burger, dips and shakshuka. Everything by freshly made and really tasty. Slightly more than local restaurant food but still not expensive (7-8€ per meal).

Also have fresh juices and smoothies

Tasty vegan food in the authentic ambience

They have on the menu several vegan dishes, hummus, vegan burger, stuffed eggplants, and gluten-free pasta with vegetables. Our favorite was stuffed eggplants, a large and very tasty serving of healthy food. The restaurant is in the old town very near the old bridge, the waiter was very kind and helpful.

Highly recommend!

It seems they really cater to tourists here but still have some great Bosnian-style food.
We had lunch here and will definitely be back to try another option in the future.

Get the falafel wrap!

The falafel wrap was soooooo good. I'm not joking when I say I have thought about it every day since.

The dip trio appetizer was also delicious and I'd highly recommend getting it.
