Serves meat, vegan options available. Tex-Mex cafe located across from Fairgrounds. Offers primarily sandwiches, wraps, and breakfast dishes with multiple cold vegetarian deli options. The "Fo Bean" wrap of hummus, black beans, lettuce, spinach, bell peppers, onions, sprouts, souska salad, greek salsa, and tzatziki in a spinach wrap can be made vegan. The "Forrest" wrap of lettuce, spinach, avocado, bell peppers, sprouts, souska, and cilantro aioli in a spinach wrap is already vegan. Has a separate list of sauces which are completely dairy free and five vegan sauces (not specify on the menu, so ask). On the Mexican menu, the burritos can be made vegan by asking for beans and omitting the non-vegan ingredients like sour cream, cheese, meat, etc. Just mention that you'd like your dish to be vegan, and staff will accommodate. Relocated from 1011 US Hwy 2 W Ste 200. Open Mon-Fri 7:00am-8:00pm.

Kinda bad

Mom and I came here because the other reviews showed good vegan options. Those are not options anymore. Only can do a burrito with veggies rice and beans or tacos with veggies n beans. The veggies tasted like a meat grill and my mom got it withoit veggies for that reason and it was just rice and beans. Not good

Pros: Free avocado added for vegan

Cons: No real vegan options

Vegan Burrito

I had the Big Mountain Burrito made vegan. It was loaded with veggies, beans and some rice. It was delish. I'd give 5 stars but this app won't let me because they also have meat options which worked well for my hubby.

Pros: Accommodating to vegans and vegetarians., Big portions , Delicious

Cons: None

Excellent find! Pleasantly surprised!

Delicious and huge portions! We had the veggie burrito (Baja?) made vegan and with the siracha aoili sauce - yum! Excellent flavors. Also, the avalanche sandwich and tacos... Very cool that they make a "quesadilla" type shell vegan by filling it with guac or beans. The staff was working hard and was patient and pleasant. We were grateful for their vegan options!!

Pros: Huge portions!, Creative flavor combinations, Friendly staff

Cons: A bag of nacho Doritos was included with the sandw

Wow, this place is incredible!!!

My wife and I love the Baja Veggie Burrito! Best food we’ve had in Montana. They can prepare it vegan if you ask. Large portion, reasonable price ($9ish per burrito), and super friendly staff. I love this place!!! Currently no seating at the restaurant do to COVID, but it’s a perfect meal to take home or eat in the car in a pinch.

Pros: Fantastic taste, Knowledgeable, friendly staff, Good value

Phenomenal Taste and Staff

Food For The Soul is a newer comfort food restaurant located beside the Exxon on Meridian. They specialize in breakfast burritos and Mexican dishes. While typical Tex-Mex restaurants won’t offer any Vegan options, this restaurant will cater to Vegetarians and Vegans alike. Their few vegan options, veggie burritos, tacos, hummus wrap, and lettuce wrap, typically contain dairy or eggs but, the staff will Veganize any dish if you request it. They’re extremely accommodating, friendly, and carry a vast amount of dairy free and vegan sauces. Give the Sriracha chipotle sauce a try, it’s my favorite!

Pros: Well-sizes portions , Extremely knowledgeable staff

Cons: Largely meat based menu
