Vegan empanadas! - Edit
What's not to love about vegan empanadas?! This is the second location for this company. Their first location in Lincoln Park is takeout only. This location is just outside of the Loop, which is very convenient to anyone living and/or working near the Loop. They also do bowls and have outdoor seating.
Read moreI’ll buy a box of the empanadas and stick them in the fridge at home, after eating one or two on the ride home. I then reheat two or three at a time in the toaster oven (5 mins at 400) over the course of a week. Perfection.

Great selection super yummy - Edit
They have 12 different vegan empanadas with so many different flavors (sweet and savory). We ordered 4 and they were all super yummy and unique. They also have vegan bowls, coffees and hot chocolate. Really great nice service as well!

I’ve had a few different empanadas, both savory and sweet, and the chorizo bowl, and everything is delicious. Definitely try something with garlic sauce!

Stopped here while visiting the city for a trip to the planetarium. We are a family of 1 wfpb vegan, 1 omnivore and 2 almost-adults who are undecided. These empanadas were enjoyed by all, with each of us choosing three different flavors out of about 12 or so options to try. Food came out pretty fast. Staff were extremely patient, helpful and kind. The garlic sauce is a must to dip the “crusts” in…used the leftover thick sauce to spread on a toasted bagel the next morning. So delicious on crackers too. And seriously, the hot chocolate is the best…a must try!

They have a wide variety of vegan empanadas. Stopped here on my way to the airport and was impressed with it all: quick, friendly, clean, and distinct flavors. I especially loved the latte.
