I was recommend the chorizo, potato, and cheese and I loved the filling a lot! It seemed well made, tasted delicious, and was pretty full. The bread was somewhat dry. However, it was super quick and the staff was friendly with recommendations.

This is a hole-in-the-wall place, with minimal places to sit. They offer empanadas that come pre-frozen (i.e., not fresh), which they heat up for you. They also offer acai bowls (from the company Deep Purpl).
Read moreThe empanadas are merely okay-tasting, small, and pricey. My rating of 3 stars is a bit generous, to be sure (they are more of a 2 1/2 star place). I do appreciate the availability of a vegan fast-food place, however.

The empanadas are frozen and get heated with each order. You’re basically eating frozen food, which makes them very dry. The filling could be better. The marguerita one had mostly tomatoes and almost no cheese.

The server was on the phone chatting the entire service. Paid no attention.

The empanadas are cute and in different colours and all. Be careful to bite into it as it is very hot after warmed up.

First there was no one at the counter. Then they greeted me by wiping their nose. I mean, if you work with food and aren’t taking basic precautions and don’t know anything about hygiene, I’m not going to eat there.

Tasty empanadas, but a little bit small for the price - Edit
We came across this restaurant while in the area running errands, the empanadas were flavorful, and the dough was pleasing, even though they were very obviously frozen and thawed in a convection oven. There were some flavors we will try next time we are in the area but it's worth noting that each empanada is five dollars and there is not much of a discount for ordering in bulk.

Great for a tasty snack. The Smokey Mushroom is the way to go! Tinga was pretty good as well. The crust is satisfying and the garlic sauce is cute.

They have excellent flavors that are very creative, many are fun twists in traditional empanada fillings, and overall the food was very tasty. While good, they are pretty expensive. I’d go back for sure!

Only had one empanada to try, and it was very tasty. Hot, fresh and spicy. My boyfriend thought that it was too salty though. So I’d recommend to people who aren’t watching their salt intake.😄Friendly guy at the counter.

especially for nyc the prices are very reasonable and the empanadas were amazing. the staff and owner were super nice and helpful. sadly nothing gluten free yet and most of the shakes have honey in them. especially the latter is pointless.

Fully vegan shop with great empanadas. The guy behind the counter was lovely and really helpful with the suggestions. We grabbed 12 empanadas and tried all their flavours, they were absolutely delicious and all very different.
