Odd couple - Edit
What an interesting place and food fusion. Great vegan options, pleasant wait staff, cool ambiance. I had the avocado rangoon pizza and orange cauliflower bites. Both fantastic. Crispy pizza crust💗#Veganuary

Unique, but not amazing - Edit
The crust is great! But the choice of vegan cheese isn't the best & has a wierd flavor. Very unique & def worth a try if you like fun crossover foods

Interesting - Edit
Not a lot of vegan options, in fact maybe just two. But the avocado Rangoon pizza was very unique and I appreciated the creativity.

Limited options but unique menu - Edit
We ordered the cauliflower wings and the avocado Rangoon pizza. Both were delicious and exceeded our expectations. Definitely recommend.

Limited options, but yummy! - Edit
The vegan cheese was pretty good, but the pizza would also be good without cheese and just veggies. They had a special for tofu pizza but they sadly weren’t serving it when I was there. I got marinara sauce, vegan cheese, spinach, mushrooms, and red peppers.

Almost no options, low quality ingredients - Edit
I'd been unimpressed with the downtown location, so recently I went to the location on Forest Ave, and the staff was completely ignorant of what vegan even means. I tried the only option on the menu, the Vegan Supreme. Doesn't deserve the title. The cheese was chewey and flavorless, the ingredients were soggy, the crust was chewey and undercooked, and because they never have vegan slices available, the smallest serving size is a 10", which is way too much crappy pizza for one meal, and i definitely won't be having leftovers. Won't be going back.

Open until 3am!? Hell ya - Edit
I love that they are open until 3 am on weekends. This place is the best to go to after shooting down shots and stumbling over after all the bars are closed. Yummy pizza options, usually 4 available when it gets late (no vegan options from my experience, but vegetarian options yes). Not much seating unfortunately and can get a bit busy after 12 am. Pizza options run low after 2 am.

Vegan pizza options - Edit
This place is definitely more exciting for the carnivorous, but it has similar vegan options to any other pizza place offering vegan cheese.
Read moreI've been there a couple times and have had the designated vegan pizza on the menu, and I've veganized a couple other menu items. I'm sure I'll be back.
There's more than one location, so you can avoid the downtown commotion if you want to (which tends to come with a wait).
Pros: Has vegan cheese
Cons: Lack of vegan appetizers

Fong's Pizza - Edit
Pizza is amazing, and there is no way I could go without it. Fong's Pizza has a Vegan Supreme pizza with your choice of olive oil or marinara and 3 toppings (they have a bunch of options--pineapple, potato, cilantro, etc) all topped with Dayia cheese. It was amazing, I got green peppers, onions, and garlic on my pizza.
Read moreThe drawbacks are that the alcohol/drinks aren't marked if they are vegan. Additionally, there is only one kind of pizza that is available. Yes, it can be customized, but the menu is restricted for vegans.
Our server was friendly and helpful when he explained the menu to us. Overall, I really like the restaurant and will be returning in the future.

Vegan pizza in downtown Des Moines - Edit
This is a quirky little pizza joint in downtown Des Moines. They used to have a couple of vegan pies on the menu, but, according to the bartender (I sat at the bar), a lot of non vegans were ordering them and modifying them with non vegan toppings, so they decided to go with one vegan pie on the menu and a "build your own." The only crust option for vegans is the white crust. The WW has honey. The only two sauce options are marinara or olive oil. They have Daiya cheese and lots of veggie toppings, but no fake meats.
Read moreI got a 10 inch with no cheese (I don't like Daiya), with lots of veggies, such as corn, spinach, broccoli, and others. It was fresh, hot and tasty.
Pros: Vegan options, Fair prices, Fresh ingredients
Cons: Only white crust, Only marinara sauce or olive oil
