Nice ambience, drinks, and snacks, but avoid the mains - Edit
Nice ambience, drinks, and snacks. Although the vision behind the menu is applaudable, the result was less than poor. We had a vegan boeuf bourgougnon with sugar and salt being the sole taste components in a small and otherwise bland dish of €17,00, and a horrific vegan pot-au-feu at €17,50 which was under a tasteless layer of chickpea and almond creme just a watery thick and tasteless soup with large chunks of tough onion (skin?). The deep fried leak, as mentioned in the description on the menu, could not be detected. To console myself, I decided on sweet potato fries with vegan mayo, which were tasty and good value at €5,50, so I advise you to stick to the snacks. It was a slow evening, but it was hard to attract the attention from the waitress who was socialising with friends. I ended up ordering at the bar and after a couple of notifications from the kitchen to collect my fries at the food counter myself.

More veggie/vegan than anything else on the menu. Good balance. Love their anti pasti plate and masala kroketten. Mind the cookie with you tea/coffee though. You can ask for a vegan option, service will be happily granted

Prima gerechten, genoeg keus uit verschillende keukens en smaken. Ik vond mijn tajine wat te zout, en niet heel bijzonder smaken. Ook weinig groentes. Prima voor een gewone maaltijd, maar ik zou er geen gasten mee naartoe nemen.

Voldoende vega(n) opties, zoals nacho's met vegan kaas, een borrelplankje met vegan kroketjes, olijven, brood, dips en ingemaakte groenten. Voor het hoofdmenu nam ik een ovengerecht met zoete aardappel, maïs, bonen en nacho's, lekker, maar geen wow-factor. Mijn vriend bestelde een vleesgrecht, dat was ook echt alleen maar vlees en verder een leeg bord, geen veggies er bij. Geen idee of de desserts vega(n) zijn, want dat stond niet op de kaart vermeld. Bij alle andere gerechten stond duidelijk aangegeven wat vlees, vis, vega of vegan was en welke opties er mogelijk waren.

I had the vegan plate. But there was nothing special. The sour vegetable were not fresh, just can stuff.

Great terrace and original dishes - Edit
The concept of focus is great, as they offer a mainly vegetarian menu for sharing. They indicates wheter the dish contains meat or not, thus making that the exception instead of the norm. Unfortunately vegan dishes are not indicate but as the ingredients are mostly listed you can deduct or just ask any of the friendly staff members to clarify.
Read moreThe menu changes according to the seasons. I ordered a celeriac dish which was delicious! But made me wonder how this winter vegetable ended up on the summer menu. The flavours and textures were on point. The parsnip creme gave a smooth texture, the fried celeriac added crunch and hazelnuts for some bite. You can enjoy all this goodness out on the terrace or in the beautiful interior.

Great sunny terrace and good service - Edit
There is a great and big sunny terrace to enjoy! We had a lovely Iced coffee with oat milk, some beers and cocktails and they were helpfull when i asked if the bread with spreads were vegan or not. They offered to make it vegan. Yay for that! They also offer some other vegan and vegetarian options for lunch, dinner and something to go with your drinks.
