Yummy vegan options! - Edit
Best variety of vegan options on the island! We had the vegan nachos and the falafel burger. Serving sizes were a little on the small side, but very delish!

Vegan-friendly, nice place, but food only okay - Edit
This is a nice place with nice staff and is vegan-friendly (in that most items can be substituted for plant-based items).
Read moreThe fact they can make things vegan is not obvious on the menu, so be sure to ask.
I just felt my falafel sandwich was a bit underwhelming, especially as it was a little on the pricey side.
I would give it another go and try something else.
Pros: Vegan-friendly, Nice staff
Cons: Falafel sandwich a bit underwhelming, Price

Meh - Edit
Vegetarian and vegan options but falafel sandwich was very average with not much in it and the rice curry barely had any vegetables in it... Expensive for what you get.

Great wee spot, oat milk! - Edit
Staff are incredibly friendly and pointed out vegan options, also said most things can be made vegan. I had the corn and kūmara fritters which were a bit undercooked. Very grateful to have a real coffee with oat milk when we came in absolutely soaked from the rain!

Awesome Coeliac & Vegan Friendly Cafe - Edit
Extremely attentive service and created dishes to suit vegan and coeliac. Very knowledgeable about both and gave us some fantastic local dishes (breadfruit, taro) to try. Home made falafel and fried rice dishes were beautiful for lunch and made us a special gluten free, vegan breakfast the next day for brekkie. Lovely staff and a cool setting. Well worth getting on the island bus to visit!

Only café worth visiting in raro (2022) - Edit
Had a hard time eating vegan our first few days- this place was a saviour! Everything on their lunch menu is vegan or veganisable (options to add meat). Vegan aioli which is amazing! Great smoothies too. Plant milks for coffees. Love love loved this place

Tasty and lots of options - Edit
Plenty of plant milk options, coffees are very good. I had the felafel sandwich which was massive and had lovely bread. My partner had the bean nachos which I think you can have without cheese. Nice open seating with a breeze running through and friendly staff.
