Breakfast Spot - Edit
The flying biscuit is my favorite breakfast/brunch restaurant in Atlanta. I love the theme, decorations, and atmosphere of the restaurant. I've been here several times, and you can never go wrong with "Drops of Jupiter" -- 2 giant pancakes. They also have really good French toast and sweet tea. They have the best grits I've ever had.

Best vegan southern comfort breakfast - Edit
The tofu scramble with their star dusted potatoes, vegan breakfast sausage patties and whole wheat toast with apple butter is unreal. It’s so filling and flavorful. The potatoes can be swapped with fruit for a lighter meal. I like to make a mini sandwich with everything. The Apple butter is house made and definitely a highlight. The whole meal is definitely bang for buck. If you’re a fan of juice, theirs are fresh and I love the grapefruit. They also make a mean chai and latte. #Veganuary

I don’t know who thought tamari marinated tofu was a good idea but it’s not. Wettest scramble I’ve ever had.

AWFUL - Edit
I ordered the vegan scramble this delivery app.... they sent me EGG SCRAMBLE. Why have a vegan scramble option if you’re not going to care enough that it’s correct. Based on this I’d never give this place another chance.

great for breakfast - Edit
I live about 3 blocks from the midtown location so whenever I have family stay over (they are not vegan) this is the perfect spot for us all to find something. I like their tofu scramble with a side of soy sausage. Also they have soy milk for coffee!

yummy - Edit
I had the tofu scramble (delicious) and my husband had the BBQ tofu burrito (which as so so). The coffee is good. There are also several salads. Their moon dusted potatoes are vegan and very good. I so t know if their biscuits are vegan or not. The todo scramble came with one so my friend ate it just in case (we did take out). Not as many vegan options as some places but for Atlanta this was pretty good and there are several locations. And the coffee was awesome! They also have vegan sausage. All of their vegan options have tofu so if you are avoiding soy this is not a good option.

great breakfast, some vegan options, nice neighborhood - Edit
Great friendly staff and delicious food. There are vegan options but keep in mind this is not a total vegan restaurant, which are in short supply! Tofu scramble and soysage, but no vegan cheese.

Nice Atmosphere and Food - Edit
My friends and I ate at the Flying Biscuit about three years ago on the way back from our mountain trip in Asheville, NC. Be sure to try this restaurant. We really enjoyed the omelets and biscuits. It seems like they had pancakes, too, with blackberry and raspberries on top. They used to operate a bakery, too, so it may still be in the restaurant (it is on the side room). The restaurant is located in Little Five Points, Atlanta where you can always find creatively dressed people, artists, and musicians.

disappointingly overrated - Edit
Everyone in Atlanta seemed to be recommending this place for breakfast, but not even our carnivore friend liked it. Friend who ate dairy found it horribly heavy and felt ill. Extremely long wait as well and weak on the vegan options. At least for breakfast...

Great BBQ Tofu - Edit
A correction to all the other reviewers there are several vegan items on flying biscuits menu. I go there at least once a week and they have a vegan BBQ buritto, vegan burgers (black bean and veggie), the 10th and piedmont location has never added butter to my tofu scramble, nor has the McLendon one. Look closer at the menu there are a handful of vegan selections and they are all delicious.

No vegan biscuits?! - Edit
I can't believe a biscuit cafe as funky fresh as this place doesn't offer vegan biscuits! I've only stopped by once while I was staying in town & I was glad I did. The atmosphere of the place is great: interesting paintings & decor with winged biscuits painted all over the walls. It seems like a hot spot for brunches & meet ups because when I visited it was packed with loud & laughing folks. For people who prefer quieter environments than a social spot, you may want to look on as this place seems to get pretty loud with chatter. I tried their scrambled tofu & vegetable dish with moondusted potatoes & wild greens salad with a nice raspberry dressing. It was delicious but it would've been so much better with a vegan biscuit instead of those potatoes! Staff seemed very friendly & helpful- upon arriving I told our waiter I was vegan & he pointed out all of my options for me- very nice.
