When we last visited, we were told that everything is fried in lard. Not sure if that’s still the case, but because of that we decided to eat elsewhere.

Totally Disappointed - Edit
I was so excited to try this place because of the carrot veggie dog I had at another upstate restaurant. At FLX you get a carrot that is sliced in 1/2 and does not have the much flavor, besides the over priced toppings. You can add all kinds of toppings for what seems like an awful lot for just toppings. Although you do get a lot of fries, they were seriously extra oily. The calorie splurge on the Oreo Stout milkshake was worth it and the best thing there.

Whole Roasted Carrot Dog with All the Fixings - Edit
Great atmosphere, casual eatery, unpretentious, fun decor. Run by Master Sommelier Christopher Bates, with an incredible wine and beer selection. The carrot dog and onion rings were superb, with Finger Lakes Riesling from the tap.
