Delicious!

The food was the best we’ve had in Taiwan after being here for a week and a half. We ordered 2 different set meals and everything had so much great flavor. The owner gave us good ideas for what to visit too. 100% recommend.

Delicious food in peaceful setting

Delicious and filling set meals. We arrived at 3.30pm knowing it closed at 5. We were advised that we were late and could only eat some things on the menu. Ordered two of the set meals, both were delicious. So glad we were able to eat there. Can add unlimited tea to order for 20NTD. Cash only.

Quirky and cute restaurant

This quirky restaurant is to be visited more for the experience rather than the food itself.
The building exterior is smothered in foliage, so it is easy to spot fom the street. Inside, you can look at all the cute miniature clay artworks that have been handmade by the owner. It is a very interesting setting with a nice vibe. The interior is quite dim, so try to get a table near the window.
There is a small selection of healthy set vegetarian meals available, they all appeared to be vegan but do check with the owner to confirm. I enjoyed my meal of steamed purple rice in bamboo with side dishes of veggies and fruit. There were also some self-serve complimentary drinks including black tea, green tea, roselle tea, longan, and barley tea. I do think the price ($280 per meal) was a bit too expensive, but it was worth it to visit and enjoy the unique displays.

Pros: Quirky setting, miniature clay artwork display, healthy set meals

Cons: overpriced, dimly lit interior

Tastes are different to what I’m used to but I like it!

I got the fresh cedar sauce with vegetables and noodles. The mock meat on the noodles reminded me of goat meat which is definitely not to everyone’s taste but I liked it, it was something different. The actual restaurant is super cute and the ambiance makes you feel like you’re in a fairytale.

Pros: Ambiance, Unique flavours, Free bowl of fruit with my dish

Cons: Taste might not be to everyone’s liking

精緻“蔬” 素食料理店

一間店面看不會很大、但裡面空間規劃不錯、而且展示很多老板純手工藝術品眾多、而且(蔬)素食餐點,天然精緻,美味可口,飲品也很順口、服務不錯。

Eccentric restaurant with mediocre food at best

I feel bad typing this because the staff were extremely nice, however I need to leave a very honest review about the food as it is absolutely NOT worth the price. The rice with vegetables was very oily, the vegetables and mock meats are braised and the flavours were overall mediocre at best , the soup served in the set meals is bland and oily, we only took a spoonful. We a had a hard time eating up and I usually always empty my plate. The miniature art pieces are cute to look at, though.

Cons: Not worth your money, The flavours

250 for a set menu with tea and fruit

Absolutely loved it! I chose the set menu with udon noodles. The whole set was great and tasteful. Also a lot of veggies included, which I like!
Tea and some fresh fruit were included as well.

Not great

The food here did not match the other reviews unfortunately. We had three different dishes and all were bland. Would not go back. If you want a meal for 1/3 of the price, check out the fully vegan Chinese restaurant a few blocks away listed on the Happy Cow map!

Cons: Expensive by Taiwanese standards

Artistic Ambiance, delicious food

A pleasant surprise. The ambiance is part artistic and part miniature museum. The food was as complex and delicious.

Delicious dinner

We ended up here after everywhere else we had tried for dinner had closed- 8.30pm. I’m very pleased we did though! There was an English menu with lots of meal sets and some pasta dishes. All of the food was vegetarian and most were vegan. We had a couple of the sets to share and it was delicious, they also came with little fruit salads.

Cons: Staff didn’t speak English

Quaint space, beautiful food

The food here is so lovingly prepared and presented, it almost seemed a shame to eat it! We ordered three set meals - two were fried bean curd (one with rice and one with udon noodle), and one was a Japanese curry. Each set meal came with a fern salad with steamed veg and sesame dressing, some braised cabbage, carrot and soy products, some seared tofu with wakame and shiitake, and a beautiful, light and fresh corn and seaweed broth....plus a small bowl of fruit and beautiful Japanese green tea (black tea or coffee were also options).

The price was reasonable at around NT$250-280 per set meal. We managed to eat most of our meal but we have good appetites and we struggled to finish!

Service was professional and prompt and the setting was decorative, homely and peaceful. Highly recommend.

Really good quality and beautiful place

Came here for dinner and I ordered the dumpling set and my partner got number 4, the noodles set. They were both really delicious, fresh, not oily, and the service was good too. Also such a fun and beautiful restaurant!

Pros: Entirely vegetarian, Reasonably priced, Beautiful presentation of food

Cons: Impersonal service

Pricey but good

They’ve updated their menu prices - most dishes are now $250. I ordered an udon set and it was mostly delicious. The udon dish was great, but the real star was a side dish of tofu in sauce. It easily one of the best things I’ve eaten in Taiwan. Other parts of the dish were so-so. I don’t think I’d pay $250 again, but it was still enjoyable.

Pros: English spoken, Friendly staff, Delicious tofu

Cons: Pricey

Worth trying!

Absolutely delicious. I had a set with dumplings and it was worth every dollar spent. The prices are very reasonable too! I paid 220TWD, which I consider a very good price for what I got. Tea was also included in the set.

Really beautiful place

I went there with my host parents when we were looking for another place. There's lots of flowers everywhere on the building and it's calm and fancy inside. Food was delicios, got the main dish, soup, tofu, drink and fruit only for 200NT per person. Unfortunately I live in Taipei but I had a good time there. Almost everything is vegan expect some soups and desserts. Stuff were really nice, too.
