Solid Vegan Options - Edit
The vegan selection here was more than just an afterthought, with several marquee items that were explicitly vegan and very tasty — the forbidden rice (with added tofu) was particularly standout. The seat-yourself casual dining also made for a good space to have conversation.

Healthy and tasty - Edit
Six of us had dinner at Flower Child. Vegan, vegetarian and meat eater, all were completely satisfied. The food is nicely served and it was very tasty.
Read moreModifying or veganizing existing dishes was absolutely no problem.
For some of us, the portions were a bit too small, but this resulted in the opportunity to try an appetizer afterwards.
The staff is friendly and courteous, we were served by all with a big smile. Because of the long wait, we were even offered the avocado toasts and a muffin. Thank you so much!
A very nice restaurant with healthy, fresh food. Definitely worth a visit!

Nice - Edit
Great spot to please lots of folks; seems like a decent amount of the menu is vegan by default, and clearly marked. Had the Glow Bowl and ate on the comfortable patio. Portion was smaller than I’d like, but ingredients were fresh. Courteous staff, too 🙂

Great lunch place - Edit
They have fresh lunch options!! I love the Thai Dye wrap, it’s fantastic. Sometimes it gets really busy and can take a while to get the food but I recommend this place.

Such a Delight! - Edit
Tried both this location as well as the Denver one and the food at both is really something special.
Read moreI had the Zoodles Dish & cauliflower risotto, both were just amazing and really flavorful. Another great place to go if you like eating food that is prepared with extra thought towards ingredients and keeping health in-mind. Placed my order online to be picked up several hours later and everything was packed and on the To-Go shelf just minutes before our scheduled time, so kudos to the Flower Child team in Boulder for keeping things punctual and orderly.
The interior is refreshing and if its the same as the Denver location (I believe it is) its counter service meaning you order, and while they bring you your food to your table, they don’t ‘serve’ you. I like that because you don’t end up paying 20% on your check for a waiter, but obviously tips are always appreciated and options to do so are at the register

Yummy and Healthy - Edit
It’s a standard healthy restaurant. They don’t have too many vegan options but the ones they have are good. It’s pretty expensive as well.

Plenty of Vegan Options. - Edit
I had the Mother Earth Bowl and it was fantastic. Great combination of hearty potatoes and grains with greens. Nice atmosphere and outdoor patio dining. I’ll be coming back when I visit Boulder. Maybe a little expensive, but not terribly and we’ll worth it.

Could be tastier - Edit
Very busy restaurant. Order food at the counter and then it’s delivered to your table. Big line to queue to order food. Lots of vegan options. We order 3 dishes to make a plate. Sweet potato, eggplant and beans. All very tasty particularly the sweet potato. Also ordered a vegan poke bowl and I wouldn’t bother ordering that again. I not a lover of a cold mushroom and there were plenty in that dish.
Read moreThe company seems to be very ethical and keeps the planet in mind with lots of compostable items and reusable dishes.
This place would have got 4 stars if I hadn’t ordered that poke dish.

SO GOOD! - Edit
Wish I could give more than just 4 stars because this veggie/vegan/paleo place deserves more.
Read moreSuch a cute atmosphere here with big windows, flowers and clean/modern interior with a 60s twist.... and the food is just delicious. Admittedly, at most restaurants vegan "sides/salads/wraps" doesn't usually sound very tasty or inspiring and are usually ho-hum afterthoughts but everything here is so amazingly good!
The Vietnamese Crunch salad (I got it with the avocado lemon dressing instead of the one that comes with it and no cilantro) is fantastic. - Great balance of fruit, grain, seeds, nuts, veggies and greens (pineapple, cashew, basil, veggies, quinoa, avocado and tons of stuff) all the ingredients are balanced and well seasoned with just the right amount of dressing.
The mushroom Pho is delicious and comes with basil, sprouts and sauces on the side. (It's a little heavy on cinnamon/clove though)
The sides are good too and you can get one, two or three to make a meal. So far, I've tried the grilled asparagus, spiced cauliflower and the totally yummy jalapeno (not too spicy) eggplant. Everything is seasoned so perfectly and absolutely delicious.
They also have bowls and wraps that I haven't tried yet.
A lot of people are saying this place is expensive but it's really not if you stick to the veggies and don't get tempted to get lemonade or tea. Most things seem to be in the 7-9 dollar range (unless you add on tofu) -- I found I didn't need the "protein add on" because everything is flavourful and plenty filling without any additions.
Pros: lots of vegan options (clearly marked) , fresh/perfectly seasoned, great decore
Cons: tofu is an add-on (expensive) , a little noisy

Cheerful and welcoming - Edit
The setting for the restaurant is within a strip mall anchored by Safeway. They totally revamped the space to include a very lovely outdoor seating area. Inside is bright and cheerful. You can see into the open kitchen and the lovely produce display. They have only been open a week on our first visit, but they seem to have a smooth working team. Though they did mess up my daughters order. Out came mac&cheese NOT VEGAN on her plate. For what she did order though, off the kids menu, was very small for $7.50 - she got a small order of tofu, brown rice and fruit. The tofu on her plate was half the size that was on my order of Wild Mushroom Pho. Well, for $4 up charge it needed to be large, but why was my daughters so small? I have to say the Pho was very tasty. The broth was flavorful & was served with thai basil, sprouts and 2 sauces on the side. My husband enjoyed his sandwich, the Tye Die - spicy tofu wrap. Overall, my husband and I really liked our food. But for my daughter next time we'll try to order "sides" to make a plate more worthy of the price. And hopefully next time everything will come out vegan as ordered!

Cons: wished more sides were vegan like mashed potato

Creative menu - Edit
Nice little hippie food place! Almost all of the menu is vegetarian and much is vegan (the idea is to add tofu or meat of choice) and the flavors are creative and diverse, including vegan beet poke. There are salads, bowls, wraps, sides, soup, dessert, and juices/smoothies/kombucha with seasonal menus. It's a bit pricey but not worse than similar area options. It is fast casual style, with counter ordering and self service. This is a small chain with restaurants throughout the west and they have a birthday club. The decor is very Instagram hip and there is some patio seating (mountain views not great). Plentiful parking and convenient bus access, great for a meal before grocery shopping next door.
