Such a Gem - Edit
In town for some activism and this is what I needed. Stopped in for lunch and had the Buffalo cauliflower wrap and queso which was a perfect amount and hit the spot. They had some great juices and craft sodas. I got the cheesesteak and gyro to go for dinner and snack later that night and they were amazing even cold. I highly recommend stopping in if you are in the area.

Unbelievably Good Food - Edit
We are on a cross country drive from AZ to OH and found this restaurant on Happy Cow. What a fantastic place to eat. The food was some of the best food I have had vegan or not. I grew up in IN and the chef has nailed midwestern food. The pancakes were light and fluffy. The biscuits and gravy were excellent. The eggs and sausage were better than any I have had. This is a restaurant that serves food that vegans and not will really enjoy.

Very solid vegan restaurant - Edit
Really nice and clean restaurant with a friendly staff. A lot of good food options and I believe most ingredients are organic. Also the only vegan spot in Evansville. As with any vegan spot, prices are a bit on the higher end but not too bad.

The best place in Evansville! - Edit
So much to choose from and everything I have had has been perfect. My personal favorite has been the gyro, but it's hard to pick for sure. Everyone is always super friendly and helpful and the owners are really awesome people that do a lot of local charity for the community. In the old days, it would be such a treat to visit a larger city to find quality vegan food, but now it's available right at home. Evansville is very lucky to have a such a cool place.

The Train to Flavortown - Edit
Flourish has really delicious and creative menu offerings, using locally-sourced herbs and produce whenever possible. Not only do they serve freshly-pressed juices ( all yummy...Green Dreams and Rise n Shine are my favorites) , Wellness Shots, (try the Vitamin C-Ya Later) and scrumptious Smoothies ( Purple Power will make you want to sing), but they offer an amazingly varied food menu, too. Everyone, from a raw fruitarian to those seeking ultimate flavor and comfort, can be pleased and satisfied. Nothing is ever deep-fried, and the food is always crazy fresh. The Seitan Buffalo Wings are a favorite of mine, and they’re perfect. I have tried nearly everything they’ve made, and it’s like choosing my favorite child to even list my favorites here. But I must recommend the Tofu Bahn Mi, the Portobello French Dip sandwich, the Breakfast Crunchwrap, and the Rueben. My fiancé LOVES the chili, and even made a point of going back inside the restaurant (when we ordered food to-go and ate in our car) to let the owner know how thoroughly he enjoyed it. He got the Seitan Gyro and raved about it, too. Flourish pays EXTREME attention to the details, and each dish is so thoughtfully constructed, that eating is a true delight. Nothing bland or boring here. And frankly, they are so good about pleasing the customer that they are keen to make things right if something isn’t exactly what was wanted. Their Customer service is excellent, and they bend over backwards to make folks happy. I haven’t even talked about their full size salads yet— you will not be disappointed if you order the vegan Cobb salad. The house made tofu egg scramble and tempeh bacon are so dang good! I also heartily recommend the Strawberry Balsamic salad, the Rainbow Kale salad ( oil free, raw, freaking delicious), the Miso-Mandarin (coconut bacon, curry cashews, omg), and the Caesar. You could literally eat a salad every single day, ... week in, week out and never get tired of them, they are just that tasty. Despite opening at the start of the pandemic, this hard-working crew was voted Best New Restaurant in Evansville 2020 by the Evansville Courier Press. The owners are passionate animal activists, and this restaurant is quickly earning a reputation of excellence among vegans and omnivores alike. They are very good about updating their social media, so definitely give them a follow and make every effort to support this small local business who is doing such phenomenal things.

Consistently delicious - Edit
Flourish was ready to have a big-bang grand opening just about the time the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Lucky for us, they were able to manage a successful carry-out strategy because the food is amazing. Their grilled sandwiches can't be beat and their sides and desserts are always delcious. This little place has a cute interior and a lot of heart with a great back-story of how it came to be. I am now a loyal customer and can't wait for the day I can sit down inside and enjoy a meal. The TBLAT sandwich will make you a believer even if you're not vegan!

An absolute treat! - Edit
Im either driving an 18 wheeler truck or my 4 wheeler Datsun throughout the lower 48 states. I cannot think of a better vegan restaurant, and ive been to atleast 24 in the U.S. I had the gyro w/a side of pasta salad...my friend was kind enough to share one of her sliders and WOW. The smoothie was beyond refreshing. This is easily top three BEST on my list. A young establishment but with a great vibe which i suspect is due to the staff, my compliments to everyone involved. I will be back, hopefully on "tuna"melt week.

I have eaten quite a few different meals here, and they’ve all been yummy!!! The Philly and Reuben sandwiches are sooooo good and filling !! The kale salad is one of the best salads I’ve ever had !! The potato salad tasted like my mom’s! It’s at least a 45 minute drive for me, but so worth it !!!!

Excellent food and service - Edit
I could be wrong but I believe this is the only exclusively vegan restaurant in Evansville. I went for the first time May 14, during the COVID scare, so everything was carryout only. However, the dining room is beautiful and I'll certainly sit down when everything opens again. Everyone in house was very kind and helpful. And the fact that the restaurant is locally owned and operated makes it an ethical choice as well. This is guilt-free food!
Read moreFlourish's menu seems to be on rotation. Each day of the week they have a different lunch and dinner option. They also have juices and smoothies. All of their options are vegan. I went on Wednesday, so I had the buffalo chickpeanini. It was absolutely delicious--the depth of flavor was so much more than I was expecting. I haven't had a more satisfying lunch in a long time. I never thought I'd enjoy shredded carrot on a sandwich, but here we are.
The also served chocolate cupcakes with a kind of oreo frosting. In my opinion, they didn't hold a candle to the sandwich, but were still okay.
I will absolutely be back and can't recommend this to all of you more.
Pros: Flavorful, Small business, Vegan options that can appeal to all diners
Cons: Relatively few menu choices
