Up front notice: foodsnob 18-year ethical vegan with a good pallette and not afraid to spend on good food. This pizza was high-quality, deep in flavor, and satisfying! We had the Pesto Royale, and it was so good. Excellent, friendly, welcoming service. Outstanding value!

This place is a must have if you’re visiting living in Oahu! The flavor was unmatched compared to other pizzas I’ve had in my life. My boyfriend and I were completely blown away by their pizza and wish it was available back home.

I am so lucky I got there when I did. It was close to 7 on a Friday night, and I got the last pizza. I chose the white pizza, and it was phenomenal. I can't wait to try more of their pizzas!

Taken away by these pizzas! The most realistic vegan cheese I’ve ever tried, and people who I came with (non-vegan) all absolutely loved it and preferred it over an animal based pizza. Such a cute little set up, outdoor area, and lots of seating. Had run out a few ingredients but the staff catered well to what they had run out of. Absolutely delicious pizza, and the best pizza I’ve had! Not a huge pizza fan but there is no way you couldn’t be a fan of this. Everyone needs to try this. Wasn’t staying in this area but I’m happy that we took the trip to go there. So refreshing to go to a place 100% vegan. Thanks guys for the fantastic feed, keep doing what you’re doing and I will most definitely be back here if I find myself in Oahu again.

We were staying just down the street so were able to walk which was good as there was very little parking. Were surprised the wait was 30 minutes but I guess they had a lot of phone orders. They didnt tell us this until after we had paid which I wasn't impressed with. I wish it had been bigger because it was delicious. We had a White which had house made cheese on and it was delicious. I was still hungry and it seems such a shame there is a vegan ice cream truck at the same spot which shuts at 6. I would have lived to have finished with some vegan ice cream.

Such a fun little spot . Pizza is amazing and the people who run it are so nice and friendly . We got the garlic knots as well and they were so good . Only here on weekends but this should be a must for anyone visiting !

We got the deluxe, which had sausage, pepperoni, peppers, and pineapple. The cheese is the most convincing vegan cheese I have had in a pizza. The dough is what makes it great.

We ate here on Friday and had to do it again on Saturday. Vegan pizza done fantastically! Quaint outdoor seating is available. But you can also take it to go and eat at the beach, which is close by.

I can't remember the name of the pizza we ordered but it was delicious. It had pineapple and veggie meats on it. We only had to wait 20 minutes for the pizza. We will definitely visit here again the next time we are on Oahu.

Possibly the best pizza I've ever had - Edit
I was blown away by the pizza at What It Dough. I got the Deluxe because I figured I should try pineapple on pizza while in Hawai'i. I think I'm converted — pineapple DOES belong on pizza!! The crust was honestly one of the best parts of the pizza, it was so delicious and perfectly cooked. The homemade vegan meats and cheese were also fantastic.
Read moreWhile this pizza is 5 stars no question, a few caveats. Call ahead to order! I ordered when I got there and had to wait 40 minutes for my pizza. They were also already starting to run out of ingredients around 7pm. And if you drive, the parking is a bit tricky, so be prepared to maybe park elsewhere and walk in. All that being said, What It Dough is worth a visit — or several!

This place was amazing. If you are a fan of pizza this place is a must try for sure. The food is incredible and all homemade by the owners which I thought was awesome. That includes meat and chesses. Really well priced and has a great vibe to go with it. The staff/owners are really friendly too.

Certainly best vegan pizza I’ve had—nice, high quality crust in wood-fired oven, several interesting options for toppings, and the meats/cheeses are apparently all made in house. Order on the earlier side, as later in the evening the line gets longer (up to 50 minutes!) and they run out of stuff.

I went to this place because of the pictures and reviews...I was not disappointed! Had the Deluxe, White and the garlic knots, all were delicious!! It's a little bitty place behind Banan don't blink or you will miss it.

This place was awesome! They make everything from scratch and it’s delicious. I would recommend the Pineapple Express pizza and the regular cheese. The deluxe meat pizza was not my favorite. The owners are so cool and down to earth. I enjoyed chatting with them. I would definitely recommend this place! I loved it so much I bought a t-shirt, lol.

A bit overhyped based on other reviews. It was good, don’t get me wrong. But I make better pizzas at home. I had a pepperoni pizza and it was basically a couple slices of pepperoni and the tiniest layer of cheese and sauce. For $19? Baked potato pizza was weird too. But at least it’s all vegan and was good enough to warrant another try next time.

Who doesn't love pizza? And this is the best pizza I've had in years! They move around but look at their Facebook or Instagram to find out where they are....seriously worth tracking them down. We got two pizzas, one pepperoni for here and one white pizza to go but we had to order a third pizza to go because it was just too good!! All vegan, house made cheese, pepperoni and sausage. Delish!

They have by far the best vegan pepperoni pizza I've ever had. Even though I haven't eaten meat in over 25 years, I've always occasionally had a secret craving for pepperoni pizza, but What It Dough's secret recipe definately fulfills that craving.
Read moreI'm almost tempted to give 4 Stars, only because of their minimal hours at a location I'm hardly at, but then I think about the great amount of effort into making these delicious pizzas, they deserve a 5 Star appreciation. Having made my own cheeses, and having read recipes on making pepperoni, I really appreciate what they do. I just wish that they had longer evening hours during the week, when I crave pizza the most (when I want something quick, but delicious, after work). On weekends, I usually make my own meals or I'm venturing out, usually not near Waimanalo, so I don't go there as often as I'd like (only been there twice). At least when they were here in Honolulu, I could swing by real quick, get some pizza to go, and save it for the workweek.
One of my omnivorous friends even agrees that their pizza is amazing. You won't feel like you're settling for less or missing out on anything here.
