After eating at several Indian restaurants in Tainan and they are hit and miss for sure. There are some that run and operated by Indians family all over Taiwan but this one is not making the grade in the autistic taste department. We ordered many items from the menu, samosa, lentil soup, dal, okra, chickpea etc as these are the most basic staple on most menus for the dinner. there was no authentic flavoring. I asked if the cook was trained in the spices in India (yes I've traveled and stayed there for prolonged trips and months in several areas) they said yes he is Indian but when i decided to look for myself but the windows that look into the kitchen are totally blackout (yes the windows have been blacked out windows and cannot see in (this is always a bad sign).. Anyway, food was soso fresh nutrients were missing based on the watered-down severings just as the flavor. I was an expensive dinner that washed down..
Read morePros: nice setting , good service , clean water
Cons: watered down , lacked 100% authentic flavors , key dishes missing from the menu eggplant etc

3 stars for veg - Edit
I should start this off with a positive, which is the place has a nice ambiance. Maybe a little bit kitschy with colourful pictures of India, but it has some charm. The food was certainly subpar. It lacked complexity of flavour and that's hard for an indian restaurant. I went with a gang of 8 people, more than half of which were vegan/veg. So we tried quite a number of dishes. Food was just expensive and not the same indian food a lot of us were used to from other restaurants from our home countries or india. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great. I had to add a lot of salt to my biryani to make it more flavourful, and it lacked veggies for a biryani. Only two people were satisfied with the meal and they were mostly pleased to introduce indian food to some folk you hadn't had it before. 3 stars because at least the place is a veg restaurant.

Cons: lacks flavour, too much dairy, pricey

Awesomeness..... - Edit
Visiting Taiwan for a conference, had a craving for authentic Indian food that was vegetarian. Blew us away, every dish was tasty and hardest part was choosing what to order.
Read morePros: Vegan options for me and rest of party was veggie., Staff were lovelier than the already great food,, So friendly.
Cons: Couldn't find any cons/negatives.
